Sean was very professional. We were especially impressed with how thorough he was. He was extremely detailed in his inspection, which is very good in his line of work. He even noted things that needed to be fixed that wasn't required as part of his inspection. His report was thorough and easy to read, full of pictures for easy reference and his customer service was excellent. We are very happy we used Sean as our home inspector. After being left with more questions and doubts then answers with the home inspector recommended to us, we decided to go online and find someone ourselves. While looking for a new home, my wife and I have hired the services of Sean Moss Home and Mould Inspection twice. We almost purchased a beautiful heritage home that my wife had fallen in love with. After finding Sean Moss on Homestars.com and reading the many positive reviews written about Sean Moss aswell as his experience with old/ heritage homes, we decided to hire him to inspect our potential dream home. After Sean's VERY indepth and thorough inspection report, my wife and I decided to walk away from the purchase of our " dream home". With the amount of structural decay aswell as a number of other major issues uncovered by Sean that a previous inspector had overlooked we had the information needed to keep ourselves from purchasing a money pit that would have ruined us financially. So after finding the next house we were interested in buying, there was no doubt as to who we would hire to inspect all other possible homes. The next home was a very well maintained and much newer property, therefore we hadn't expected to find any major concerns. Well after checking every possible nook and crany Sean Moss discovered black mould inside of the ceiling space aswell as some in the shower. Because of Seans diligence the homeowners agreed to remidiate all mould issues prior to our purchase of the home. We have recommended Sean Moss to our friends and family who are looking to buy a new home. We cannot say enough how much we appreciate the services and care shown by Sean Moss and have no doubt who will be inspecting every home we purchase in the future.

We hired Sean to do a condo inspection on an older condo we purchased as a first home for our family. I was hesitant to get an inspection done at all thinking what could he find that I wouldn't be able to see between our own review of the unit and a depreciation report and strata minutes. While googling the benefits of a condo inspection I came across Sean's name (and all of the good reviews) and I am glad I did. He was very thorough and explained to me step by step what he was going to do. Alot of times when you're providing a service with no tangible end product you have to make clients see value in your work and Sean did that for us. He pointed things out inside the the unit that we would not have known and because of his expertise we shaved some money off of the purchase price of the condo. He also took his time to go over common property at the building so we were aware what we were buying into since it was older. He was friendly, punctual and he knew what he was doing. Highly recommended.

In this very hot real estate market, we were told that the sellers wanted a clean offer with NO subjects. Therefore, time was of the essence to get an inspection so we could put an offer on this house. It was a very chaotic day and lots of stress. I called Sean and he had a cancellation for the next day and was at the house as promised by 8:30 a.m. We met him at the property by 11:00 and he caught us up to what he had discovered thus far. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to everybody (my husband a civil engineer and myself who has limited knowledge of construction) in a fashion that everybody could make an informed decision. I felt Sean was definitely working for us and is extremely honest and trustworthy. My husband and I found Sean Moss Home Inspections by browsing Home Stars and saw his incredibly high ratings. We called him to conduct a home inspection during the closing of a real estate deal. From the very first call to arrange an appointment, Sean was very professional and did an excellent job at being descriptive of all the steps of the home inspection.

Sean is very passionate about his work and it translates in his attention to detail, thoroughness, and knowledge. My husband and I felt like we were in good hands and his inspection gave us the confidence in knowing everything possible (good and bad) about our future home. He is very respectful of your wishes, asking how we wanted to be informed of things during the inspection, if we wanted to remain private or speak open in front in front our realtor.

The one thing I really appreciated was Sean would not sacrifice on the quality of his work in essence of time. Unfortunately the seller did not make some areas easily accessible to Sean, making it very difficult to inspect some spots of the house. However, Sean stayed longer than expected to ensure that he properly reviewed all components of the house.

Overall, Sean did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a high quality inspection for their future home.
