My wife found Sean Home Inspection through a website recommendations, She insisted we go with Sean and no one else. Because time was of essence, we almost couldn't make it work. I'm so glad we waited and was able to get Sean to do it for us. From the beginning to the end. He went through everything thoroughly and patiently with me like a teacher. I learned so much about our new place. More importantly, Sean was able to identify right away some major deficiency that would have cost us an arm and leg after the fact. Armed with his thorough and accurate report. We are able to get in a good position to negotiate a fair deal to help with the future repairs. Me and my wife is really happy that we had the chance to use Sean for our home inspection. He will be our home inspection guy for life now. I engaged Sean to inspect the home that my husband and I were fortunate to purchase in this hot real estate boom that is happening around metro Vancouver right now. I found Sean through Home stars and decided to choose him out of a whole host of home inspectors out there after speaking with him on the phone. We spoke for around 20 minutes and he explained to me about the kind of inspection I would expect from him. I found Sean to be thorough and generous with imparting information. I shadowed him throughout the whole inspection process and I certainly learnt a lot from him during this period of time. His sense of humour also made the 5 hours go by quickly. Sean truly provided one of the very best customer service experiences we have ever had. He inspected a pre-1950 home for us. In the walkthrough he explained everything in a way that we could easily understand. He had no issue with having our contractor participate and he got along well with him. Sean's report was delivered the same evening, was incredibly thorough and well explained with photos. We are now using it as the basis for post purchase repairs.

Sean is awesome! I read the reviews here before I hired him and was not disappointed. He was responsive to communication, flexible on short notice scheduling, extremely thorough and very friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions and make sure I understood all of the findings. The report was even completed the same night and he quickly responded to all of my follow up questions. I showed the report to a contractor friend who commented that it was probably the most thorough report he had ever seen. I highly recommend Sean and have already referred him to others. I would definitely hire him again.

Sean is a very busy and sought-after home inspector with a lot of expertise, and yet he made time at short notice to come and do the inspection on the condo I am buying. He was extremely thorough, explained everything really clearly, did an extremely comprehensive report that told me everything I needed to know, and charged a very competitive rate. I would certainly use him again next time and recommend him to anybody.

Sean was VERY accomodating with our tight schedule and he was more than willing to meet in the late afternoon. As for the inspection, he was extremely thorough and even brought towels just in case there was any leaks caused by the inspection. He walked us through the entire process and even had the report done that night! Highly recommended.
