Lumber Liquidators

This is what happens when the flooring you order has a "milling defect" as they called it. I discovered the cracks, and holes in the flooring the next day while I was cleaning it. The "Customer Care Department" from headquarters in Virginia said: "Every board should be inspected before installing". ie by the customer.
I chose the company because:
I was assured by the sales staff that it was "their most popular flooring" and good quality (of course).
The sample board was flawless.
The website claimed:
"We care too much to sell anything but the highest quality flooring. Guaranteed".
"Lumber Liquidators has the highest standards in the industry...here's how:
1.Inspection...at every stage. 2. Compliance..exceeds the laws 3. Testing.
The company is denying all responsibility and the above claims from the website have now been...removed!

Great service. Very knowledgable staff. Huge selection and variety of floors. The staff were so helpful, gave great ideas. Even gave a discount and threw in freebies. Highly recommended if you are renovating.

We needed to buy finished hardwood we could install ourselves to finish the floor in our new home addition. I was a bit nervous about reading reviews about lumber liquidators but took the plunge and checked it out. We were pleasantly surprised - we got lots of attention and found the floor we needed at a great price. We went to the store in the west end of toronto. Delivery was smooth - we also bought the installing material, nail gun, compressor and trim that was a much better price than home depot. My only complaint - they forgot to send out the fitting between the airhose and the compressor so we had to run out several times to get the right fitting from the local hardware store - otherwise we have a beautiful red oak finished floor (Canadian made) we're very happy with.

Found pricing online for unfinished solid oak 48" X 11" stair treads at around $25.00 each. I went to the Brampton location only to find they didn't have any in stock but the rep was more then willing to check stock of which they had no more in inventory.

Based on the great price I decided to call the location near Hwy 400 and they told me they had over 100 pieces in stock. I went the next morning and was happy with the quaality with the one they had on display. I asked if they were all of the same quality and was told yes. I purchased over 20 of them only to find when I unloaded them at home that 25% were of much worse quality to the point I couldn't use them. I purchase more from Brampton lumber as the bull nose was the same but at a higher price.

Great place to find great hardwood flooring at a great price. Choices are a bit limited if you are on a tight budget, although they are great with assisting with any questions you may have. We purchased some great bamboo flooring and have been soo pleased with the pricing and quality. They have a number of locations to serve and make sure to call ahead as they do get very busy on the weekends. I would def use them again for our next project.

make sure you know what you're doing before buying at this american outfit now in canada. i purchased a floor from them and they didn't say i needed nosing and other accesories to complete the job and when they came to lay it they said they didn't have the matching product. i had to go and find a similar flooring color to complete the job and now i have a two toned floor.

Great prices for flooring - installation wasquick and very professional. Installers were very experienced and helpful with the install. Basic preparation - carpet removal and screwing plywood underlay was done by myself to save expenses. Highly recommended my me!!!

They have a nice stock of several different hardwood and laminates that are very well priced. We are happy with the great laminate floor that we purchased.

We only had a problem with delivery when they were suppose to deliver us first in the morning; the drivers mixed the deliveries and did another delivery before us, so we had to wait a few hours for the delivery.

The rest of the service was very good.
