Overall I’m pleased with my experience with the Floor Shop even though it was rocky at times. I ordered a Luxury Vinyl Flooring product for my condo and was happy with the help I received in the showroom. They let me take samples home and keep them for a few weeks while I decided which product I wanted.
On the day of install they realized the person who keyed in the order keyed in the wrong amount of floor product by mistake. Needless to say I was not happy. The installer came and was able to complete my main room, but not the two bedrooms. The Installer, Voytek, was great and did an amazing job to make sure he completed the whole main room with the limited amount of flooring material he had.
The Floor Shop employees tried to find additional material, but it was on backorder. As Coronavirus started to take over Asia, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get the product for 2-3 months at minimum.
However, Peter, the owner, who had been on vacation when this happened, promised to try to find more product or offered me a discount for my troubles. In the end, he was able to tap into his new build resources and find me the product and get it installed. The second installer, Bob, also did a great job.
While the data entry error and the news of limited product on install day were a huge frustration, ultimately I feel Peter’s actions to solve the problem were fair and in my best interest.
Based on this I would use this company again since I felt they owned their mistake and did what they could to fix it. In the end, my condo looks great and I’m so happy with the finished look.
