A A Major Appliance Repair Service

Our washing machine had stopped working. We feared we'd need to cough up money for a new one but I found AA Major Appliance Repair on this site and called them up.

I called them at 9:30am and they were here by 11:00am the same day! They fixed the washer in about 30 minutes and didn't charge me an arm and a leg.

I highly recommend these guys and will use them again!

We had a local appliance repair company come out and look at our
front load washer as it would not drain out the water, when he left
the washer was not fixed and was actually worse than before ! the
washer was now leaking and very noisy.
My friend said that I should call Major appliance repair. I did and
2 hours later a tech showed up to look at the problem. he was very
capable and knowledgeable, he replaced the water pump in about
10 minutes and while he was working on the machine he also
lubricated the bearings and adjusted several other things, the washer
has never worked better. Do your home work and be careful who you
let into your house, I was very Impressed with Major appliance and
will call them from now on.I will definitely recommend this company. Vanessa

I live in Brooklin ontario and often have trouble trying to get
repair people to come out here. I had a problem with my
whirlpool fridge it was not cooling properly at all for about a
week and I was losing food. I was not sure who to call as I
have been let down many times in the past with no shows,
including one major company.so I looked at a few web sites
and found Major appliance repair on the home stars site,
they had many great reviews, so I called them Wednesday
morning and they promised to come up that afternoon. A
service tech.showed up at 1:pm and diagnosed the problem
as an electric air door he told me that the part cost around
$90.00 and went back to the shop to get one.He returned
later that afternoon with the new part and repaired the fridge,
and I am glad to say the fridge works better than it has in a
long time.By the way the part actual only ended up costing
only $73.00 I will share this company's phone number with
my neighbours, as they havealso had problems getting service
people to come up here. it`s nice toknow that there is a
company out there that actual does what they say they will.

My dryer stopped heating suddenly so I came to the HomeStars website to see who I should call. Major Appliance was highly recommended. I placed the call (on a Monday) and a half hour later there was someone here to assess the problem. He figured out the problem (an electric gas valve) and said he'd call back later that day, once he'd had the chance to call around and locate the part. I had to ask his name as he was heading out the door: Martin. As it turns out, I didn't hear from him at all so I gave him a call this morning (Thursday). He assured me that he had not forgotten about me but was having difficulty finding this part for my particular machine. Within just a few hours he had found one, and arrived to fix my dryer. He is a man of few words who quietly & efficiently goes about completing his work. I am very happy and will be spending the rest of the day catching up on laundry :) One further note: there was absolutely no discussion of what this might cost in the end. If you want to know up front, you should ask for an estimate. I guess I trusted that it would be reasonable!

The freezer portion of my 10-yr-old refrigerator stopped cooling properly. Contacted this company based on the HomeStars reviews, and I'm happy I did. They showed up within an hour, and discovered it was the compressor that was not working properly. Recommended I buy a new fridge, since it would be cheaper than repairing it. The service charge was minimal.

Very friendly to deal with and their response time is good and they are very accommodating as far as scheduling goes! They are quite knowledgeable which results in fast job completion, Seem to carry a large amount of parts which speeds up repair! we will certainly call them again with any future problems. britany
