Toronto moved 2 households on September 26 & 27th 2013

Viktoria movers were affordable, no hidden fees and provided a fair quote. Chris and his crew moved our large triplex home, over two days! The young men were polite, efficent, helpful and moved our furniture and artwork without any damage!! Our family would highly recommend Viktoria movers. It was a large job and Chris's crew were a delight, they were exceptional with my senior parents and did not complain when they had to move extra items. Thank you for making our move a smooth one!!

Home Movers

This was our 3rd move in less than 3 years, and if we include our daughter's move, this was the fourth. All four were made possible by Viktoria's incredibly courteous, efficient, helpful, and ever obliging crew led by Cormac. They arrived early, and stayed until the job was done. There were no nightmares, no hidden charges, no padding the bill, extremely honest and hardworking. Very fairly priced, and highly recommended. Thank you Maria.

Moving in Etobicoke

I had a great experience with Viktoria Professional Movers when I recently moved from my townhouse in Etobicoke. The 2 guys showed exactly on time, worked very professionally and tirelessly for 7 hours. All my furniture was handled in the best possible way. I am very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them.

moving from Toronto to Niagara

Maria was very helpful in organizing my move to Niagara after 29 years in the same house in Toronto. Her estimate was right on. The crew was very careful with my antiques, very polite and friendly. The foreman Chris was well organized and consulted with me throughout the job. Everything was either wrapped in padded blankets or shrink-wrapped and arrived in the same condition it left in. I have already recommended Viktoria to two people. I was very satifsfied with their professional service.

1 Bed apt. to a Home( East York to Richmond Hill)

Our moving date was September,21 on a very rainy Saturday. The crew ( Devour & Steven) showed up on time and they were ready to get going. They briefly explained what was going to happen and made us feel very comfortable. Not only were they professional , but also were extremely friendly and polite. As the rain was pouring heavily, it didn't seem to be stopping them. They did not even take a single break. They had all the necessary equipment ready as requested for the items. They were super careful with our fragile belongings. Overall, my wife and I had an amazing experience and were extremely happy with the level of service and punctuality was presented by the company and the crew. We will definitely recommend Viktoria P. Moving to our families and friends. Once again, we would like to thank Steven & Devour for their outstanding customer service and professionalism as well as Hazel for taking care of our booking, and making it so smooth for our moving day.

Brampton to Georgetown move

I just want to apologize to all the guys who helped with the move because it took me so long to get this review up! I’m pretty sure I remember everyone, but I may get mixed up with who did what. If I do, apologies again. By the way Maria, keep these guys and give them a raise!!
I wanted to write this review to help anyone else who is planning on hiring movers when buying a new house or for any other reason. Like you, my wife and I read reviews and did research before hiring anyone to take on the responsibility of moving our possessions.
Step 1
We called several movers (who shall remain nameless) and they simply asked the size of our house and how many rooms. They then proceeded to give us a quote over the phone and tell us how many trucks and movers we would need. On the other hand, Maria from Viktoria set up a time to come over to our house and went through all three floors while taking notes. She then sat down and explained the finer details about the options and different costs associated with the move. Very professional! Note: We have a 4 bedroom house (about 2300 square feet) with every room filled with furniture and a finished basement also full of furniture, tools, freezer, etc. Even Maria and the movers thought we had a lot of stuff!
She basically gave us three options:
1) Move the day before and make everything easier.
2) Move the day of close and hire one truck and 4 movers, probably a 12-14 hour job for the size of our house
3) Move the day of close and hire two trucks and 6 movers, 8-10 hour job.
We chose option #3. Even though it cost more per hour, the movers were less tired and moved more quickly when moving into our new house. This was exactly what Maria explained to me during our meeting. She also said it would be closer to 10 hours unless I had everything packed and wrapped. We did our best, but couldn’t pack everything. The move itself took about 8.5 hours with ½ an hour of travel time and about a 1 hour wait for our new key for a total of 10 hours. I can’t say how impressed I was when Maria called it exactly! If you go with Viktoria, trust what she says.
Step 2 – Moving Day
Did I mention this was the first time I’ve ever used professional movers?
7:45 am, the movers show up 15 minutes early! Two 27-30 ft. trucks and six guys. We were pretty nervous! Did we get enough packed? Will they move quickly? After the first 5 minutes all our fears were alleviated! My wife looked at me and said, “These guys are awesome!” I wholeheartedly agreed. Mark D stayed on the truck and I spoke to Adam to get the ball rolling. Kris, Peter, Devon, and Will all laid walking pads throughout the house and proceed to start packing the truck. It was like watching an efficient machine. No one got in anyone’s way and Mark D did a great job stacking the boxes so nothing moved while driving. When the first truck was loaded, Peter took on the task of stacking boxes on the second truck, also done to perfection. Once the main floor was packed, they split up and went to different rooms on the second floor. As they cleared a room they put something in front of the door so as not to waste time checking the room again. Like I said, efficient. They certainly were not trying to pad the bill! Peter went about taking the beds apart and Dev called me over at one point to let me know there was some damage to our master bedroom dresser. He didn’t damage it, he just wanted to let me know it was there. Very professional. I was just floating around trying to help and not get in the way. We also had a sofa bed and we all know how heavy they are. I’m pretty sure Dev and Kris moved this down the stairs and right on to the truck. Not one scratch on the hardwood and not one dent or scratch on the walls! They then took out the wardrobe boxes (free) and packed up all of our clothes in about 10 minutes. Top floor was finished and they moved to the basement. Here I had a big freezer full of food. We left a section of our van specifically to put the food in. How foolish I was, Adam and Will went down and checked the freezer and said no problem. They picked it up and carried it around the tight corners, up the stairs and out the front door! Again, not a dent, scrape, or scratch on anything. Total move to fill two trucks, two vans, and a car – 4.5 hours. The guys then boarded the two trucks and stopped for take out on the way to the new house. They actually beat us there! We waited for another hour to get the key and they proceeded to unload. The unloading process went just as smoothly and took the remaining 3.5-4 hours. Dev and Adam moved the sofa bed upstairs and Adam and Kris moved the full freezer to the basement once again. I just want to say Mark D, Peter, Kris,Will, Dev, and Adam were all awesome! However, the freezer and sofa bed were two big standouts for me, because I moved both of them before. Not fun!!

Step 3 – Unpacking
It took us about a month, but we have everything unpacked. Not one broken glass or picture and not one mark or scratch on our expensive tables or my precious speakers! (LOL)

To sum up: Go with Viktoria! Very professional and the guys seemed like old buddies of mine who just dropped in to help me move for the day! Viktoria may seem more expensive up front, but everything is included (wardrobes, packing tape, shrink wrap etc.) and there are no suprises. On a side note, a friend of mine used a different company and they quoted him a much lower price, but after the move they charged him $800 more than the original quote. Not so with Viktoria. Thanks again Maria, Adam, Dev, Kris, Mark D, Peter, and Will!

My wife, Carla, myself and our two children recently purchased our new dream home, which has been an extremely happy & exciting time for us, as well as stressful and overwhelming at times.

Upon choosing a professional, caring and trustworthy moving company, I knew Viktoria Professional Services would do the job and especially since hearing all the raving testimonials from our mutual BNI Leading Edge members.

Carla took care of many of the moving details and proceeded to interview a few moving companies. I was not surprised when, after speaking with you, Carla agreed that we hire Rocky for the job… You met with us at our home, took the time to listen (to mostly Carla’s concerns), answered all of our (mostly her) questions and reassured us that we had one less thing to worry about when hiring Viktoria Professional services for our move.

You made the promise and your crew delivered!

Cormac and Sasha arrived on time, protected our floors and covered ALL of our previous furniture and items with thick quilts. They exercised great care and caution throughout the move and, above all, were very courteous, polite and professional.

Moving and Storage

I moved from Oshawa to Toronto a couple of weeks ago and was beyond impressed by Victoria every step of the way. They confirmed all the positive reviews I read on this site.
Hazel was my booking contact viz e-mail and was very quick to answer all of my questions. There were no surprise fees on moving day and I appreciated her continual contact with me throughout the entire move.
Kirill and Gyula were my two movers and were fantastic! Speeduy and respectful of my belongings. I ran into problems when my couch would not fit into my new apartment and had nowhere else to store it. Viktoria offered me transportation and the storage for the couch at a very reasonable price which was a huge relief.
I would use them again without a second thought! Thanks again!
