Dealing with convertible was great, from the initial phone call to the install. Marnie explained a lot to me over the phone and was very patient. She let me take time to do my own research and make an educated decision. She even called me back on the Saturday of a long weekend.

I have since referred my brother, friend, and a neighbour over to Convertible for AC quotes as well.

Pricing was very competitive from the other quotes I got as well.

We purchased a new AC and furnace from Convertible in March 2016. Our sales person was Michael and he was a pleasure to deal with it. He answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly and encouraged us to call him any time if he could be of further assistance. The furnace was installed first and Convertible agreed to return later to install the AC since we were doing some digging around the house. So far so good.
When the furnace was installed, that same evening we had no hot water. None of the individuals in our household are versed in the workings of the water heater, furnace or AC. We called the service number and they came out the next day to fix the problem. I believe it was something like the water heater flame just had to be reignited. The technician was supposed to come between 10 and 11 am and nobody showed up. When we called the service number again we were told the tech would come at 12:30. He ended up coming closer to 1 pm. When he didn't show up on time I had also e-mailed our sales person to advise him of this because I was concerned nobody was coming at all. Our sales person spoke with the owners or supervisors and apparently they told him that they had offered to come out that same evening that we had called but we declined and opted for them to come the next morning. That part was completely untrue. If they had offered to come out right away, I would have gladly taken them up on that offer so I could take a shower before going to bed! Anyways, they did come out and fix the problem so I was satisfied for the time being.
Now it is May 2016 and I called them on Friday to let them know my AC seems to be leaking. I was told it was probably ok to continue operating the AC and a tech would call me to set up a time to come out. The tech called the next morning and said he would come Monday between 12 and 2 and that it was ok to continue operating the AC unless we saw white ice building and then we should turn it off. So now it is Monday, and the tech called at 12:54 to let me know that he is not coming because the leaking is just water and it is normal and they are not going to come out for that when there are people with no cooling out there. I completely appreciate the art of prioritizing and I can even believe that the water leaking is normal from the humidity and condensation. What I don't appreciate is taking the day off work to wait for a tech who then calls and says he is not coming because the water is normal. Why didn't he tell me that it was normal on the weekend when we spoke so I didn't have to waste my time? I called the service supervisor Sam and he offered a very insincere "sorry" and said that once he figured out it was just water they realized they didn't need to come out. It took an experienced technician that long to figure out it was just water? Apparently the water is normal. If that is the case, I wouldn't have known that because our old AC unit didn't ever show any water leaking or pooling around it. So of course I was concerned when I saw a liquid leaking from the unit as that was not the norm before.
I chose Convertible after receiving various other quotations and reading their reviews online and really thought I was going to be dealing with one of the best. I have to say that so far I am unimpressed with their service, mainly because there seems to be no consideration for my time as a customer. I am not an unreasonable person but when I've paid your company thousands of dollars, I expect some kind of mutual respect. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't have time to sit around waiting for tech guys that don't plan on showing up. I hardly ever write reviews unless I have a really positive or really negative experience but felt that people should know what they might expect service wise after investing a good chunk of money. Hope my dealings with Convertible will be more positive in the future.

Called for a quote and spoke to Sam. He was very friendly, informative and answered all my questions. He gave me a quote which was very reasonable. When I called back to book he told me he would send his best crew and indeed he did. The guys were great and did an amazing job. I was billed as quoted, the guys showed up on the day and time I was told they would. The unit is working great. My home is cool! I would 100% refer family and friends. Thanks Sam!

From the beginning, Marnie was very professional and walked us through what would and might happen during the installation. She helped us make an informed decision through the quotation process. Despite requiring 2 calls to reach Marnie, she was able to deliver on her promises - we understand that this is peak season for you and your team.

On the installation day, our service rep, Adam, called us early to inform us that the company vehicle had trouble and they were going to rent a truck. That was fine with us as he did everything in his power to rectify the problem - Adam and his staff stayed late during the day to ensure that everything was setup properly and all garbage was properly disposed.

During the installation of the coil, Adam promptly informed us that there was a leak in our heat exchange, on inspection we found a 2-3 inch gash on one of the tubes. Adam explained to us what happened and again, we were fine as we did not have to use our furnace. Adam was professional and courteous during the installation and took his time to explain the steps we didn't understand. Convertible, make sure you keep Adam on your team!

Our AC has been running fine and the thermostat has dropped by down to 72 degrees.

I had 2 other companies give me a quote for Furnace and AC before I called Chris. Both of these salesmen were eager to sell me very expensive high end models (and also a larger AC than what we needed) and wanted to dazzle me with graphs and brochures.
We called Chris because we were pleased with the work they had done a few years ago when we purchased a tankless hot water heater. Chris listened to our needs, assessed the requirements of the house, and gave us a straightforward recommendation and quote with no pressure to purchase.
On the day of the job, the 2 gentlemen were very professional and did a very good job removing the old units and installing the new. They showed me what they did on the exterior of the house, and made sure I was comfortable setting up the new wifi controlled system.
It has been a few weeks, and I'm happy to say both the furnace and AC work great and our home is very comfortable!
Also, instead of trying to sell us $3K air exchanger like the other 2 companies, Chris sent a repairman to diagnose the problem with the old one (which turns out it needs a new motor).
I have already recommended Convertible to my neighbours. I felt like we were dealing with friends trying to help us with a problem rather than someone looking to take advantage of us.

Used them in past to replace my furnace and to service my products. Never had a reason to go anywhere else. Air conditioner broke Tuesday. New one installed and working great Thursday morning. Spoke with Sam who sold me on a less expensive product that was the same quality. Had the same experience 5 years ago with my furnace when I shopped around. Installation was quick and clean. No reason to deal with anyone else.

After researching several companies and my due diligence I had 3 quotes prior to the work being done. We went with convertible. They were very informative of the different products and work needing to be done.etc.
They were very professional scheduled an all-day event put blankets down inside...however they did leave a bit of a mess in our furnace room and brick debris outside. They did not follow up with us after the service and the patio stone was not replaced so therefore the larger unit is now sitting partially on the lawn. Overall the work was done well and we are quite content with what was replaced.

Fast, efficient and most importantly for me on time with a quote and the job itself. Dieter was very friendly, on time and left it clean afterwards. Thanks Chris and Dieter.

I was happy with my contact with representatives who recommended units I purchased at satisfactory price and payment terms. I was happy with Installation which was efficient and good. Air conditioner is performing good.

We were very happy with the professional service we received from Convertible. The quote we received was very accurate and there was not a lot of hassling "upselling". The technician were very helpful in explaining how the system works and making sure that we were happy before they left.
