windows

Our old windows let in every sound and squeak, from aircraft landing at the Island Airport in Toronto to dogs barking and music blasting. After hearing Michele Gould's advert on the radio, I thought well why not; nothing else has worked and I can't sleep any more. Michele guided me gently through the whole process, letting me know what to expect before, during and after the job. The installers were wonderful young men, thoroughly professional, tidy and careful in their instructions to me. Last night, I put my book aside at 11:25 opened the integrated blinds of my new bedroom windows, and guess what? I saw that last Porter aircraft go over, heading to the Island, and I heard NOTHING. Thanks Michele. Excellent service and an excellent product. Peggy Sloan

window replacement

My first experience with Magic Window Innovations occurred several years ago when the crank on my existing bedroom window stopped functioning. I heard about magic windows and decided to try them. I was impressed with the crankless feature but especially the hidden screens and blackout blind. It was great to look out through clear glass as opposed to a screen.
A couple of years later I replaced my picture windows in the living room, family room and sliding patio doors in the kitchen. They were fabulous. The patio doors functioned smoothly. Two years later I had an issue with e sliding screen. I mentioned it to a rep at their CNE booth and was told the problem would be remedied quickly. The screen was replaced , no charge. Great customer service.
Now we are undergoing a kitchen renovation and needed a new window. We decided to replace the rest of the windows in the house. Michele came out to the house, measured , gave us a quote and helped us with blinds, sun shades and glass options.
Thank you Michele and Magic Windows for a great job! We are extremely happy. The windows look great. Highly recommended!

Kitchen renovation

This is a unique product and it really transformed our kitchen into an extension of backyard pool life this summer. Everything was installed in a single day, 4 huge windows replacing 10 old ones and a door wall replacing 2 sets of French doors. For me this was unbelievable considering the size of the renovation, and non-standard inside trim - we used clear cedar that would be varnished, matching the rest of the house interior. This demanded more precision to look good than painted trim (filler can't be used to fill joint gaps) but the crew did an excellent job inside and out. All the old windows and doors and other debris was removed, and everything swept and vacuumed by the crew, by evening.

While the full door-wall opening is the most dramatic visual change over our (20 years old) custom cedar casement windows and doors, the acoustic difference - blocking of outside sounds - is very noticeable as well. We used to be able to talk to the other side of the glass, and hear birds, lawn mowers and other outside activity. We now have to open a window to hear anything.

We did have one small issue with a door screen latch popping out after a week of use (the retention feature is a bit tiny). Magic Windows sent a crew out to quickly make an adjustment. After 3 months of use we're convinced the product will last.

Windows & Door Installation

Magic Windows lives up to their name and hype. I listened to their commercials for years on News Talk 1010. Vysan their sales rep who visited us was not the least expensive and was not the most expensive either however his no pressure sales tactic and his patience explaining their product made the difference. They delivered and lived up to their name even choosing not to install due to weather conditions that was not suitable to the quality of their installation. The windows are energy efficient and reduce outside noise significantly. The hide and slide screens make such a difference. The large picture frame windows are incredible letting in a lot of light. The security of the windows are also well worth it and the ease of cleaning the outside from the inside can't be priced.

Window Installation 1st floor including large picture window

I really LOVE my new magic windows. The whole process from investigation thru to purchasing to installation and after sales service has been professional and timely!

I had a really bad experience with my last window install 13 years ago, so I spent more time investigating companies this time around. I wanted to make sure that I was buying a quality product with a company that stands by what they produce and install. The 40- year warranty was one of the deciding factors.

1st off, Sol answered all of our inquires and really demonstrated the products and the integrity of the organization when we first visited the showroom.

Next, Michele came to our house to quote. She was knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and down to earth. She listened to what we were looking for and provided suggestions and options that we could explore. She also provided us with a detailed quote - which no other window company was able to provide!

Installation was efficient and the team cleaned up before they left. I was called out of town suddenly, so my mother had to oversee the installation. The installers willingly took a phone call from me to verify how the framing on my picture window should look (I was concerned because the previous company had done such an awful job). I arrived home to wonderful new windows! We turned our air conditioning off for 4 days - there was that much of a breeze in my house!

Finally, the after sales service. I can't say enough. I received calls for final inspection and to verify that everything went OK. There were a few minor tweaks required, and a follow-up appt was scheduled. The technician when he came out was professional and courteous!

The black solar blinds and retractable screens are fantastic. I can see my garden even the blinds closed, also the house stays cooler in summer and there is less heat coming through the windows then before.

I am so happy, I am now moving forward with the rest of the house.

Basement windows replacement and security

Our existing windows were over 25 years old and didn't provide for a quick exit for our new tenant in case of fire. For security we wanted a safe window system that would also provide quiet for ourselves and our new tenant. The thermal qualities were also a factor. The installation went smoothly. We'll see how well they perform over time. We have a 40 year all inclusive warranty to call upon as a back up. I don't think we'll need it.

Full Window replacement

I chose Magic Windows for their product quality and 40 year Guarantee.

Initially we decided to have just the house done and not the basement but the price came out so reasonable we decided to do the 5 basement windows as well.

Installation team was fantastic and so efficient. They came and measured in advance and all work was completed in a day. They worked from 6:30 am right through to 7:00pm so we were not inconvenienced.

The built in retractable fly screens and black out screens are perfect and you do not need drapes.

When the windows are closed sound proof is 100%

Truly Amazing

What A Difference!

These windows are worth the price. Not only do they look great, they are well made, and sound proof. My neighbour's air conditioner has been making this high-pitched squealing sound for days and the windows completely block this out! I had 11 old windows replaced, and recapped. Great job. The installers were respectful hard working and cleaned up after the job was completed. Michele, who sold me the windows was professional, friendly and a true believer in the quality of these windows. I am very pleased with results and the high quality and professionalism of the people who work for this company.

Window Installation in Dundas, Ontario

We recently had most of the windows in our house replaced by Magic Window Innovations. We had original wood windows (40+ years old) which had leaking seals, grew a new crop of black mold every year, cranks were non-functional, etc. etc. The sales person was helpful and priced each window individually for us, which many companies would not do. They did some creative short term interest free financing for us and the deal was signed. The installation went well, one day only and the installers were very professional. I had a 5-section bow window which had shutters on all portions which they left in place while they installed from the outside. They cleaned up everything and we are very happy with the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality product and installation.
