This Project was a very good experience- workmanship was excellent, they came on time and the job was finished in two days. Workers were very careful in the garden and nothing was damaged. Everything was cleaned up and the finished result was excellent. A great job and I would recommend this company to anyone.

I was looking for an electrician to wire in a new salt system for my in ground pool (switching from chlorine). Had several companies to quote the job which seemed simple to me, there was already power and a panel in the pool house, this job just involved patching the salt generator into the electrical system. This gentleman arrived as arranged, looked at the job, quoted it and then came back in a few days to get it done. He also cleaned up existing wiring, labelled and tagged everything and made it all very neat. Although this was a small job that he fit into his schedule, he took great care with his work, explained what he had done so that we understood the job totally.

Booked a total deck and coping refurbishment with Joe and his crew. Contract was signed in April for work to begin in early September (no loss of swimming season). Schedule slipped a bit due to the weather, but current deck and coping stones were removed and stacked for us to reuse on another project. New deck and coping were poured of stamped concrete. Job was halted due to weather (too cold now) but will be restarted early next year. Looking forward to new liner and mechanicals in the Spring. This company is very responsive, and while it took a while to get into their schedule, good people are busy! They secured and protected the area for the winter, and hauled away tons (literally) of old broken patio stones as part of the contract. I would recommend this company highly, but be prepared to wait for a while. In our case it was not a problem, we booked the job, used the pool all summer and as we would normally have closed in September the job started. Remainder of jobs to be done will be complete before normal opening in the Spring, so no downtime encountered. A very positive experience, will update the progress in Spring 19. Spring 19 update: Again the weather was uncooperative but the job was finished early in May. New liner, some new mechanicals, new pool ladder - all looks amazing. Had to make one further call to company to get a small amount of sealer - Joe dropped it down to us within a few days, no problem. Would recommend this company highly.

I was looking to match existing shutters in the house. Smart Shutter sent in a service person who showed us what was available, measured all the windows in question and then produced a quotation for us before he left the house. There was no high pressure sales job, no further remeasure appointment and no long waiting for the product to be delivered/installed. We had continuity of service from one person from start to finish. The installation was quick, everything fit and looked great! Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality product with great pricing and professional installation.

We recently had most of the windows in our house replaced by Magic Window Innovations. We had original wood windows (40+ years old) which had leaking seals, grew a new crop of black mold every year, cranks were non-functional, etc. etc. The sales person was helpful and priced each window individually for us, which many companies would not do. They did some creative short term interest free financing for us and the deal was signed. The installation went well, one day only and the installers were very professional. I had a 5-section bow window which had shutters on all portions which they left in place while they installed from the outside. They cleaned up everything and we are very happy with the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality product and installation.

We were looking to replace our 17 year old furnace and 30+++ year old a/c. We had the Boonstra rep. in to look at the job and quote a total replacement of both systems. Chris was very professional, he arrived on time and had some very good suggestions on how and what to replace. We agreed on the pricing and set a date for the install. The installers arrived on the agreed upon day and the work began. This was quite an involved job and started on the Friday before a long weekend. While the job was quote as being complete in one day, we did expect that it would run over, which it did. As this was a long weekend they did not arrive back until Tuesday, but all went well with the installation. Since the install we have had a couple of issues, which were attended to quickly, once we got in touch with the "right" person. Our furnace install needed some tweaking, condensate was building up in the exhaust lines and the furnace was gurgling - this was corrected in short order. The other issue was noise with the a/c upon startup, we were told this was normal. All in all, a good experience, good service, polite service personnel and a good install. Would recommend highly.

We were looking to replace our existing countertops with granite. After researching and getting quotations from many companies we started visiting each of the showrooms. Custom Granite had full slabs of granite in their back storage area available to look at and 12"x12" samples to actually take home to view. Many of the installation companies have no granite on site, just pictures or samples on the wall. It was nice to be able to take something home to decide upon. We went with them in the end, the guy doing the templating was there within a few days, and the installation was complete within two weeks. Installation went well, and we are extremely pleased with the end result. No hesitation in recommending them.

We had a very old fence (40 years old!) which needed to be replaced. I also took the opportunity to add a floating deck in a section of the backyard. John came out to quote the installation last March, when we still had ice on the ground. We agreed upon a price and style of fence and I booked it for the first week of May. The crew arrived on the appointed day, had the fence down in 20 minutes and started the job. In two days everything was done, the crew was polite, areas around both sides of the fence were cleaned up. I had a couple of issues with the installation, I specifically asked for invisible fasteners on the deck and I was charged a premium for them. When the deck was being constructed they told me they could not find such fasteners, so offered me another way of fastening the boards. I accepted their solution and they did install some deck lights which were not in the original contract to make up for the premium charged for the fasteners. The deck looked great when done, but within a month some boards were warping and pulling up from the fasteners they used. They came back twice (to date) to fix these warping boards - service calls take a lengthy period of time to accomplish. The two gates they fashioned to go along with the fence have warped badly, one gate will no longer open without scraping the deck and the other is just warped at the top edges (looks ugly). I'll have to call them back again in the Spring to do the fixes. All in all, they are punctual, arrive when they say they will, they do attend to warranty issues (albeit somewhat slowly) and produce a nice product. I would recommend them, but would advise the homeowner to make sure you are getting what you paid for.

We were in the market for a winter safety cover for our inground pool. We have three dogs and it was a concern to us that they be safe in the backyard, without having to fence off the pool. We starting looking at covers late in the season, Buds had a serviceman down at our house in two days and a quote was prepared onsite. We accepted the quotation and the cover arrived on schedule. Installation took only a half day, was done professionally and with little bother. They also closed our pool at the same time (part of the pricing) and made sure that we were aware of the intended usage of the cover, how to adjust it, how to work with the anchors and the warranty provisions. One of the installers gave us a demo of walking on it (!). We were missing an Allen wrench used to work with the anchoring system, and it was dropped off the next day by the installer. While this company was not the least expensive, they do a good job, you always get a call following up on the service and they will book your opening/closing months in advance, should you so desire. Would recommend highly.

We moved into a new house (for us) last year. The first thing we did was to replace the eavestrough and fascia as it was old and leaking. D'Angelo & Sons were punctual with the estimate and even reduced the pricing when I mentioned they were not the lowest bid (even though that was not my main criteria for choosing the company to do the work). They arrived a few weeks later (well within the timelines they had stated) and the job was finished in one day. The worksite was cleaned up and the job looked good. The first heavy rain we noticed quite a few leaks, so we called to let them know. Someone came within a few days, did some caulking in the areas I indicated and the job was done. We have had no issues since. Would recommend them highly.
