John was very positive, informative, and punctual. The boys doing the labour were respectful, clean, and patient. The cost was fair, and we felt the job was done well. We would call Joh again if we had another issue.

Josh did an excellent job of fixing the crack and arrived nearly two hours early! We were very satisfied with the service. Waterproof Masters provides a 25-year transferrable warranty on the work!

Hit hard by July rains. Guys did a great job. Came back and cleaned with no qualms when I mentioned my driveway was left a little messy with mud. Has rained a couple of times since and have had no issues. Warrenty provides peace of mind. Overall very pleased.

This was a huge job (almost the entirety of our foundation needed waterproofing) plus the tile had to be replaced under the basement slab. These guys are awesome and go the extra distance to make it right. They are extremely particular about the work they do. Even my dad was impressed, and he's built homes for 40 years. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind we needed.

John was excellent at answering our many questions when it came to us having half of our house waterproofed. We called many different companies, but none seemed to care as much about the job or our home as John did from Waterproof Masters. The crew arrived right on time, and were great at prepping the area for the job, (removing and replacing our fence), digging around the gas line, and working all day. Josh and his crew were excellent at answering my many questions, and cleaned up the work area every day. At the end of the job, John and Cyril, (on two different occasions), even came back and answered my additional questions. They were even able to provide some plumbing solutions for inside our home in our basement. We would highly recommend this company, without a doubt. To begin with, John from Waterproof Masters was extremely accommodating when we had to change dates on more than one occasion. This morning, Josh and James arrived to do the work. They proved to be two very knowledgeable, conscientious young men who took great pride in their work. To me, it looked like one huge undertaking, but they took it in stride and worked systematically and as a team. I was most impressed with the quality of their work and their total accountability - often times you hire someone and they leave for what seems like an endless break or several breaks. Josh and James worked extremely hard all day. They had to dig up and re-plant shrubs - and they actually left the area looking much nicer than when they started. Congratulations, Waterproof Masters....on hiring hard-working young people who serve as the best Ambassadors for your company possible. I would recommend Waterproof Masters to family, close friends and anyone else looking for quality work and a fair price.

We just had our exterior foundation wall repaired complete with weeping tile. What a pleasant surprise to see an energetic crew producing quality workmanship. Never was there a no show and all the crew worked well with the gas company inspectors and building inspectors. When it came time to cleanup again everyone was involved cleaning the driveway and deck.

After days of worry on the rainy days that will flood my basement and the Hurricane Sandy is coming, WATERPROOF MASTERS has saved me and gave me nights of good sleep just before Sandy went landfall on Monday.

I have so much appreciation for this company, the management John and his partner/team (Cyril, Kalyn, David, Austin, Anthony, Josh and Lee) for the services they have provided. This company will be successful for the following reasons –

1. First contact – Kalyn with her very nice and gentle voice to speak to me, made an appointment for on-site inspection and estimation, and followed up with phone call to confirm address and location. Very professional customer service that gave me the impression a professional team is on the way.
2. First visit – John the business owner came to the on-site visit, very punctual and even 5 minutes earlier that waste me no time to wait and chase people down. The inspection is very detailed and his professional advice, such as the good quality of the concrete in the basement made me relief from my fear on further problem might have with the leaking crack. He has carefully inspected the interior and found out 2 other cracks, and then exterior another crack he suggested to waterproof to prevent future problem. First quotation has been prepared on the spot and price is reasonable and discount given without much bargaining.
3. Follow up email – John sent me thank you email with contacts for references that I did not ask for. Good work to show how confident this company his provided good services that customers were satisfactory.
4. Monitoring the situation – John has monitored the weather condition and proactively suggested alternative date, one date earlier (not later). Again having Kalyn, a very professional customer service representatives, left me a voice message for the suggestion.
5. The big work started – so the date is set, things are ready to go. The team arrived exactly at 9am as scheduled. We met and they all greeted me ‘Good Morning, Sir’. We had the discussion on my requirements and their plans – a good communication. By the way, they started the work even though I have not put down the deposit due to the schedule changed. John is very flexible and confident that customer will pay for the good works.
6. Team work – this group of young man really enjoyed the work. They worked hard (digging work is really hard and dirty) and they made fun of it. Austin even named the shovels with the movie Avengers hero such as Captain America. They see their tools are hero and friends for them. Work completed on schedule and the work were tidy and the work sites were restored to original scene.
7. Some follow up works – we need more gravel, some touch up work to do – to secure the insulation back to the wall (this work was not included but John agreed to do it as it was not discussed during the first visit). This last piece of work completed a week later as promised, no need for me to call and worry about I have paid full and this will be an undone work forever.

Waterproof Masters is a company I see that is run and managed with very good business philosophy –

1. Customer centric, make the things right first time (7 layers technology that is outlined in the quotation) with reasonable price.
2. Proactive interaction with customer and provide professional expertise and advices.
3. Flexible to accommodate the customer needs, think ahead to foresee problem and prepare the resolution.
4. Timeliness – never make the customer to wait and worry.
5. Take care of the staff – provide protective work uniform.
6. Good marketing strategy – provide good works and services, promote incentives to customers for giving referral to others for business.

Again, thanks for the great job done. Unfortunately I cannot put a rating of 11. The one point bonus is my appreciation for how you can deliver the good quality work under the uncontrolled (weather) and adverse situation. By the way, John is very responsive to my calls. I called other two companies and they either did not return my call, or just quoted me the price, which is higher, over the phone and was not willing to visit me for the inspection for more business.

Have not had a heavy rain storm yet but from what I can ascertain I'am confident problem is rectified. Waterproof

spelling) was a pleasure to speak to every time. John had
lots of patience explaining details of process. John demonstrated patience in answering my many questions.
John, seemed to genuinely care about doing job correctly.
If I ever know anybody that would need his service I would
definitely recommend Waterproof Masters.

We chose Waterproof Masters to repair a foundational crack which was causing leaking into our (thankfully) unfinished basement after heavy rains. The work was just done yesterday, so I cannot truthfully comment on whether the problem has been solved (need to wait for another heavy rain -- but based on the work that was done, I am confident the problem has been fixed). However, the service level from estimate to job completion was phenomenal. We chose Waterproof Masters based on the comments in HomeStars and their good rating with the Better Business Bureau, as well as the glowing comments from some of the references that John provided. The guys showed up on time, were extremely professional and careful while they were doing the work, and did such a great clean-up that truthfully you couldn't even tell that any work had been done. They hosed down the driveway, cleaned up all the dirt, and left the work area spotless. Caylin (?) -- the lady in the office, was also wonderful to deal with -- and very patient with me despite me calling her several times to clarify details about the job. My husband and I have done major renovations in our home, and have had our share of both excellent and shoddy tradespeople. John and Waterproof Masters are one of the good ones!
