I was very pleased with the support I recieved from George of Anta Plumbing. He arrived on a Sunday afternoon, in the timeframe I agreed with the customer service rep to address a leaky pipe.
He quickly found the source of the problem, addressed it and let me know what I could do for preventative maintenance as well.

Notice a leak in my finished basement ceiling. Thought it was from home theatre installing previously done. George from Anta came by within about 90 minutes from my call. He was very polite and advised that he could see water coming from the main floor. He isolated the likely drain and cut a neat hole behind the wall and found the leak. He fixed it and I am very happy.

George was very neat and fair with his estimate and caused minimal damage and inconvenience. I would definitely recommend and use again if I had to!

This is our first house and our first unexpected problem and additional expense. We were quite stressed when finding the sewage backup in our bathtub but everyone at Anta was extremely helpful, and sensitive to our needs. We will definitely be using you again if needed!

UPDATE: I felt the need to update this review. Although we were initially very satisfied with Anta pluming service, we are no longer and in fact, very unsatisfied. We have had the same sewage backup problem an additional two times since their initial "fix." The first time it happened, we called Anta and they snaked our toilet for a reasonable cost, although they were not unable to provide any explanation as to why it happened again after they claimed they fixed the problem. The second time it happened, we became increasingly concerned and called Anta to question why the same problem is occurring when we had initially paid a couple thousand dollars to fix it. After a frustrating conversation with the receptionist who was not answering our question and repeatedly telling us how much we would have to pay just to have someone come do a camera inspection, we were able to talk to Tony, one of the senior plumbers, who agreed to come have a look at no cost and provided us with our options, one being to pay $180 to snake the drain, yet again. We took a couple days to think about what to do and decided to go for the snake. We called back to make an appointment and arranged for a 12:00 appointment, re-confirmed the price of $180, and emphasizing that we had to leave the house at 2:00 at the latest. They indicated that would be no problem. On the day of the scheduled appointment, not only was the plumber 1 and a half hours late, but changed the price to $250. We called Tony, who did the initial inspection, knew exactly what had to be done and quoted us on the price, however, he was no help whatsoever and extremely rude, unprofessional in saying we have to pay the new price or the job will not get done. Although we had a great start with this company, we will never use them again as they did not hold true to their work, and demonstrated an extremely unprofessional attitude.

I want to take a minute to let everyone know about the service that I received from ANTA plumbing. I had an issue with my downstairs washroom that needed immediate repair. I called at 7pm on a Tuesday, and by 8:45, Steve Martel was at my house. After reviewing the issue, and giving me all my options, I contracted ANTA to perform the job and they started on the Thursday. Steve and his crew arrived at the time indicated and were ready to start the job. The project involved breaking the existing concrete and laying new piping. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A CREW WORK SO CLEAN AND RESPECTFUL OF MY HOME LIKE THIS!!. The entire work area was covered with plastic from ceiling to floor. All the concrete and dirt that was removed, was placed into large bags and kept off my floors. The crew reviewed the project and progress with me throughout the transition. After they were finished, the entire area looked cleaner, than when they started. I want to thank Steve and his crew for a job well done. I would recommend ANTA plumbing to anyone in need of their services.

I was digging in my basement to lower the floor and while trying to discover my main drain, I accidentally knicked the old lead supply pipe. I taped it up so it wouldn't flood my basement and started my phone calls. Anta responded quickly. They were completing my sentences when I explained my dilemma to them which gave me confidence they knew what they were doing. They told me what needed to be done and why and how it would actually improve my water flow and how the city would expedite what they needed to do (replace their lead pipe in priority sequence (12 weeks instead of a year) once I had my side done). They also told me the cost which I thought was too much. I called around. Usually it's $500 more from two other companies and even more from others. I spoke to a friend who had had it done recently without the time pressures and he said, "hey, that's a good price"
I called them back, they came in two days, they were safe by checking for gas lines first. They brought 3 guys, dug a hole outside my house, put the new pipe in place, hooked it up, filled the hole back in with gravel (i'll cement it later) and called me at 3 to tell me they were done. While cutting the concrete the dust got on my neighbour's porch and baby carriage - they sprayed it all down and apologized to my neighbour for me as well.

Anta came highly recommended to me from a friend and I'll do the same.

Quick quality cheap - I say pick two. Anta gave me all three and I was pleasantly surprised.

Knew the problem immediately upon coming in for an inspection. Work was done very professionally and clean. When unforseen issues came up they diagnosed and resolved quickly and explained all the way along.

I needed the faucet and sink to be disconnected prior to installation of a granite countertop and then reconnected after curing. I Phoned Anta Plumbing 2 days prior. To be honest, I phoned a rival company first with more reviews however they were unable to accommodate on that day and did not wish to give an estimate over the phone, therefore I phoned Anta Plumbing instead. The Receptionist for Anta plumbing was pleasant to deal with over the phone and with my query transferred my call directly to Patrick "da" plumber.He was courteous and pleasant over the phone giving me an estimate as well.
When Patrick arrived, he was courteous,professional and down to earth.. a cool dude really..... He cleaned up after the job and answered all my questions...even the ones I thought were to silly to ask.
I was extremely pleased with the service and because of Patrick's nice manner, would definitely call Anta Plumbing if the need ever arose again.Thank you Anta Plumbing for your prompt and professional service and especially thank you to Patrick.

Had a toilet leak and suspected that it was the gasket. Called a number of plumbing companies and Anta Plumbing provided the cheapest quote by far. Repairman was on time, professional, and the repair itself went smoothly. I highly recommend.
