Mister Plumber

I had a leak and found MP in homestar. Given the rating I decided to call them. Alex came to my house and suggested to do checks to ensure there really was a leak.....once determined there was a leak, he told me he was going to start from toilet on top floor. I don't know to this day how he zoomed in where the issue was - NOT in the washroom, but kitchen ceiling. He only opened that area. I could have paid thousands of dollars finding and fixing the leak, but I'm grateful Alex representing Mr. Plumber did everything possible to minimize my expense. He fixed the leak. Alex was respectful, polite and took the time to explain what needed to be done. I feel he went the extra mile to ensure all my concerns were answered. I will definitely use Mr. Plumber again and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

I needed to replace my single bathroom vanity and install a new double vanity, and so re-do the plumbing. I was fortunate to find Mister Plumber and extremely satisfied with their work. Vlad's workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. He answered all of my calls, and if he wasnt able to, he was quick to call me right back. He was prompt and great to deal with, and his rates were very competitive. I would strongly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.

If you've done your homework and you have read all the reviews, then you already know how great these guys are. I'm just reiterating the fact that they are just that. Vlad and Igor were the initial contacts and they know their stuff. They helped explain things and get things underway including permit requirements and the required paperwork for the city's subsidy program. Pavel and his crew are extremely hard working and professional. They come in do what needs to be done and leave it all clean afterwards. Thanks to all at Mister Plumber. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this company again in the future.

A long overdue rating. Work was done in Dec of 2013/Jan of 2014 or so.

Igor and Vlad came by early to estimate my series of jobs and provided what I consider a very reasonable quote.

Despite going on vacation, Igor took all necessary steps to ensure his crew was well informed of the work at hand.

The crew doesn't talk much, but they're hard workers and were there each day working their butts off - Pavel, Rost, Igor and Andrew.

Igor was well organized and provided the permit and all of the city forms to receive a rebate. Would definitely deal with again.

One con - these guys are super busy, so they may not have time to call you back for smaller jobs (like when I tried to call to cap off some copper pipes for me). Would only recommend to a friend if they had a big job.

Wow. What a fantastic experience. We needed to have our 1910-era water service upgraded from corroded iron to modern copper. It wasn't a huge job, maybe 14 feet from the city connection to our meter in the front of the basement. We'd put it off because we thought it would mean ripping up our porch and garden - nope! Another plumber told us we had to get it done right away, along with some other work. We'd had good luck with Mr. Plumber in the past, so figured we should at least get a second opinion. The estimator Igor gave us an immediate no-nonsense quote, and said the extra work could be done, but wasn't necessary. Alex & Alex showed up a day later and did the whole job in three hours! This included digging a small, but deep, hole in the front garden (they were careful not to kill any plants needlessly) and ripping up a small bit of the basement floor. They filled the hole back in and concreted the floor seamlessly; they even had to take a short break for the gas and Bell locators to make sure everything was cool. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit - it might have taken three hours and fifteen minutes. I think I signed the work order at 8:00 AM and paid them off at 11:15. One of the Alex's confirmed that the extra work our first plumber said was necessary was a waste of time - he'd do it if we wanted, but sad why waste the money? Here we were practically begging them to upsell us, and they told us to not bother. How often does that happen in today's world? Extremely happy and impressed.

I deal with contractors very often and Mister Plumber is one of the most professional I have ever used. Everything from the first contact to the end was smooth and simple. I checked every single step they made and was 100% satisfied with the job they have done. The price was on par with other quotes but the peice of mind you get with these guys is priceless. I will use them again.

Andrew & Alex came next day after calling to fix leaking toilet onto floor below. Were on time, professionally fixed seal (so far no leaking yet), & very clean. Felt a little overpriced for resealing ($265+tax) a new toilet, but was given quote over phone, and needed done asap, as most plumbers know the urgency. Not sure if less to install new toilet. Had to replace shut off valve ($113 + tax) extra. Great work overall. Would recommend to friends.

Andrew and Alex came to my house in the morning to fix a leak that was coming from my tub, into my finished basement. They came, inspected and found the source of the leak right away. It was a tough job as access to the broken pipe was very difficult but finished no matter! Very professional, extremely friendly, and very very clean. They always kept the front door closed, respected the cleanliness by wearing indoor socks over their shoes, and even vacuumed any mess they created! I've used Mister Plumber in the past, again this time and for sure will be calling them in the future. They even gave me suggestions on what products to use to help maintain my pipes and what products to avoid using. A++

I called Mister Plumber at 9:00AM to set an appointment for replacement of mixing valve on my hot water tank. Andrew and Alex arrived at 10AM and inspected the problem and provided a comprehensive estimate for replacement of the mixing valve and a few other repairs to the water inflow to the tank and furnace. All work was completed in a professional and timely manner. Andrew and Alex are friendly and personable and go out of their way to explain the work being done. I was most pleased with my first experience with Mr. Plumber and will recommend to my friends.

This was very difficult work, requiring breaking through concrete slab in our garage and digging a deep trench through our garage. Igor and his crew worked hard and cleaned up well. Unlike others that I spoke to, Igor was very direct and explained exactly why his approach made the most sense.
