Reliable Home Comfort

Our ancient furnace broke down on the coldest night of the year! We got Reliable to come by and give us a quote on replacing it with a new one. Their service was friendly and fast and clean. We are very happy with our mid-range high-efficiency furnace.

First had Reliable replace our old rental hot water tank with a brand new one a few months back. We were very pleased with both the service and product we decided to use them again to upgrade our 25 year old AC unit. Service was extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I felt pricing was very reasonable with what other companies are charging for the same services. We are very impressed with the service we received and will be recommending Reliable to friends and family in the future.

Had some friend of a friend who fixes furnaces come out to check our furnace as it kept locking itself out therefore, leaving the house freezing in the middle of the night. After a few "quick fixes", we were fed up and contacted Reliable after reading the many positive reviews on this website. No disappointment. Someone came out on a sunday morning to diagnose the problem and we were advised our furnace was unsafe to use due to a cracked heat exchanger. Our gas was shut off immediately for safety. We were offered either a repair job or a replacement of the furnace. We decided to replace the furnace since we were going to sell our house and it would hopefully be a selling feature. Darryl came out the following day to install a furnace since we have a baby at home, they rushed the replacement. They did a quick, efficient and mostly, clean job. We were very satisfied.
We did have issues following the installation and someone had to come back twice to figure out what was causing the problem. Turns out we were using too efficient furnace filters! Both times, we dealt with a pleasant helpful person.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any furnace or air conditioning related issue.

Called on a Friday afternoon and described that my furnace was making a loud banging sound. Had someone come out to my house the next morning who quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. When I asked how much it would be, I was told there was no charge as it was a very simple fix that required no parts. I insisted on giving them something for the time and trouble. Many other companies would have charged for coming out. Very friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommended.

Peter and Jamie arrived and finished on time, and were very professional and courteous. They were not even scheduled to work this weekend, but the owner - Darryl, worked some magic and made it happen. I will use the company again and definintely recommend them to family and friends. I will be moving this year, and plan to call them again to get a quote on a new central air unit. These guys are great

Had issues with my Furnace and (due to reviews on Homestars) I decided to call Reliable Home Comfort. An appointment was scheduled the same day. Darryl arrived and was very quick to detect and rectify the problem. He was very courteous and professional. I would definitely use their services again.

Reliable Home Comfort is the first and only company I phoned when our furnace decided to stop working. We used this company before to install our a/c and were completely satisfied. So when the furnace stopped working properly we called them first. Darryl was without doubt amazing. It was late Saturday night when I first called. He suggested I try a few quick fixes myself. He said that he would call me back after the job he was at, and sure enough he did. He was able to squeeze me into the busy weekend schedule the next day and was able to troubleshoot the problem. I've bought a furnace from Reliable Home Comfort 5 years ago with a 10-year part and labor warranty. Today, my furnace stopped working. I've called Reliable and they sent technician (Darryl) to me within couple of hours. Apparently my flame sensor stopped working and it took Darryl less than 5 minutes to identify and fix the problem. I had absolutely no problem claiming my warranty. All I had to do is to show the proof of purchase. Best customer service experience! Thank you so much!
