Reliable Home Comfort

Over the last few days my furnace was cycling on and off, and also stopping altogether occasionally. So yesterday I called around to a few places, including one I used in the past but wasn't thrilled with. Most charged just to have someone show up, so the minimum charge would have been close to $200 - and in some cases they'd then have to come back again in a day or two with a replacement part if necessary. I chose Reliable, and first thing this morning Dave showed up. He spent more than an hour carefully checking and cleaning my furnace. The grand total was $89. I HIGHLY recommend Reliable! It's super-hard, in my experience to find a company that won't rip you off or not do very good work, so I'm thrilled I found them.

Two nights ago, our '98 furnace stopped working. I had a feeling it was the igniter but was faced with a decision - replace the older furnace or repair. I spoke with Darryl over the phone and he did his best to work with my schedule as our house was getting quite cold. He understood that I wasn't sure whether to replace or repair. He came over, repaired the furnace and realized that his repair meant that I wasn't going to replace the furnace in the next day or so. The cost of the repair was more than fair and I assured him that when we replace the furnace - Reliable Home Comfort was my first choice. Darryl was polite, easy to work with and professional. You will be impressed with the service. I've already told a friend about the experience and she said she would call them when needed.

I phoned Rob one evening to ask about my failed furnace water pump. He was ready to come the following afternoon. Rob replaced it and made sure it was working properly for a very reasonable price. Thank you again Rob for such wonderful service.

There's con artists and then there's legit conscientious people Reliable Home Comfort are securely planted in the 2cnd category. A breath of fresh air following being ripped off by a local heating and air conditioning company who's methods are to intimidate and yell. Next time I need anything furnace related - Reliable Home Comfort will always be my first call. Thanks Rob and Dave.

Fantastic service and professionalism. They showed up as promised to look at my furnace. They identified the issue and were able to repair it right away.
This is my second time dealing with this company - they replaced my air conditioning unit in 2014 and they have once again exceeded my expectations.

Starting off with the quoting process - Dave came to do the quote and he was super friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. They were the 3rd company I had over to quote. Their price fell right in the middle of the three, but I felt most comfortable with Dave, hands down.

The work started and finished the next day. The attention to detail and good quality that Rob put into the job couldn't go unnoticed. He went out and bought a special drill bit to ensure a clean cut into my stucco exterior where the exhaust pipe would come out. I watched them so carefully ensure that the appearance of the changes made to the exterior were clean.

The furnace went in without a hitch, and everything has been running great since they put it in (about a week). They cleaned up after themselves so nicely -- you wouldn't even know that anybody had been there to do work.

I want to especially point out our gratitude for Dave - who did an amazing job to fix a problem (thrown into the job pro-bono) that we were prepared to pay close to $700 to fix. We had no airflow coming into my daughter's bedroom and we had 2 other companies quote on opening up 2 walls in our home to completely replace the duct work. Dave looked at it and noticed that the outside of the duct was insulated with asbestos and explained the potential health risks of removing it. Instead of removing it, he fixed the duct with sheet metal. Since then, the air flow in my daughter's bedroom is stronger than any other room in the house. We are so incredibly grateful for this!

10/10 on the work they did fixing my air conditioner in July 2014. But 0/10 today with no response/callback from the company on their emergency service number. 24/7 is supposed to mean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, not 24 days a month, 7 months a year.
