Tip Top Trough's team, from their administrative staff to their onsite crew, were amazing to deal with! They performed leak seal service on three separate areas of my eavestrough and did a wonderful job! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them!

Overall a pleasant experience to work with TTT. From contacting them on Homestars, to scheduling around the recent rain storms we've been having, and to the actual job itself - the TTT team was courteous and timely. The cleaning crew also provided me with a report indicating which parts of my eaves might need angle adjustment; and since I live in a townhouse, they also highlighted the risk of debris coming off of the neighbours roofs.

All of the gunk they removed from the eaves and downspouts went into a yard waste bag, that they left at edge of my lawn for garbage day pick up.

Our old gutter drainage system had a lot of problems. There was water dripping in one corner where two gutters met and the pipe directing water from the balcony to the downspout was clogged. We went to Homestars and found TTT. They responded promptly to our online request and advised us to replace our gutters and downspouts, which we are so glad that we did. Their crew came on June 1st to do the job. It was one day before that we found out our house had a gypsy moth outbreak. We were so worried the job would not be done perfectly, when there were so many caterpillars hanging, flying and crawling around. To our surprise, their crew was very professional. The job was nicely done. With the new system, they repositioned all the downspouts and added one to the side of our house in the front to make water flow better. After the job was completed, they showed us around, explained things clearly to us and cleaned up all debris before they left. We were very satisfied with their work and much appreciated the follow up phone call from Shantal to make sure everything was fine with us. Thank you so much, Shantal and Amanda. Our new gutter drainage system now works perfectly well. We will highly recommend TTT to our friends and family and will definitely hire them again for any future needs.

Editing a prior review that expressed frustration over communication issues with the company…this review now reflects additional work conducted by Tip Top Trough on our house this summer.

We hired Tip Top Trough to replace our eaves system in 2012 - the work was great.

We did have communication issues with them when we required fixes in 2017, and had the work done by another company.

We needed to have part of the eaves system replaced entirely this summer. While we did have some frustration over the length of time for response, they did get back to us and did a great job at prioritizing our work, advise the best course of action, and replace the section quickly.

TTT was fantastic to work with. Three main points:

(1) The team (from office to field personnel) were exceedingly professional and polite. A real pleasure to work with.
(2) Substantively, the field team was incredibly efficient and thorough. I was impressed as well that they took the time to go around back and look at the downspouts even on the garage!
(3) I was also pleased with the communication overall. From getting the initial estimate to me through to booking the appointment was a real breeze, and also surprisingly quick. I thought I would be waiting for a month or more but the time between making first contact to completion of the service was less than two weeks.

Overall I would definitely recommend TTT (and will be giving them a call for the next cleaning!).

I had a really good experience with Tip Top Trough when I first asked them for an eavestrough repair a few years back and this time I really needed to have new eavestrough installed so I contacted them again. From the moment I called them to the completion, they have been truly first class, being courteous in advising and providing description of the work to the workers who removed the old eavestrough and installing the new including the leaf screen. They were courteous and really worked hard to exceed the expectation! I have no hesitation in recommending them to my friends, colleagues and neighbours.

Repaired a section of leaf guard after it was left open from unrelated work high on the second story. Cleaned gutters as well.

We requested a quote online and it was provided promptly. It was significantly better than the other quotes we had received. Once we agreed to move forward with the work, the visit was scheduled promptly. Workers arrived on time and quickly got to work while following all COVID protocol. They worked efficiently to get the task done. Upon completion, they alerted us several areas that were in need of repair and suggested ways for us to do so. The final bill was identical to the quote we were given. We will definitely be booking with you again!
