Here’s my 2011 experience with SpringMasters – my review and rating.
In 2010, SpringMasters came by the door and provided lawn aeration at my home in Toronto.
In early March of 2011, being a target for repeat business, I received a telephone call from SpringMasters offering me lawn aeration for the Spring of 2011 at a good rate if I paid by credit card in advance. I agreed, gave my credit card info and my credit card was charged the next day at the agreed amount.
The aeration was done on April 3. As I was not home at the time, my wife paid the higher regular amount when presented an invoice at the door. So we have paid twice for the same work.
This would seem to be a minor mix-up, easily resolved.
On April 4, I spoke to the SpringMasters head office in Ottawa (the only contact provided on the invoice presented at the door). The person I spoke with seemed to agree this was a problem and that it would be looked into.
Receiving no refund or other response, I again contacted SpringMasters on May 11. The person I spoke with seemed to agree this was problem and that it would be looked into.
Receiving no refund or other response, I again contacted SpringMasters on July 25. The person I spoke with seemed to agree this was problem and that it would be looked into.
As of August 30, over 120 days later, there is still no resolution nor response to this problem.
Based on this experience, I can only recommend that you do not do business with SpringMasters.
