Read great reviews on this company so hired them for a suspected leak in one sprinkler head. Explain to receptionist this was the issue and may require some digging. She said this was not an issue. When the worker came he wasnt willing to dig even as much as 6 to try to uncover the problem. He insisted it was a leak originating from our pool. I was certain so I began digging and he basically watched me. He left and later that week, my husband and I dug only 4 further around the head and uncovered a major leak. I called the company and asked to speak with an owner however the receptionist was clearly the gatekeeper and in spite of telling me the owner would call me back it never happened. Another individual called and said they would come and fix free of charge. This happened and instilled a bit more faith, however I made a mistake with this company yet again. I decided to give them a second chance by closing our sprinkler lines. The same worker who had been training when he fixed the leak showed up alone. He began asking me questions about the system that didnt even make sense. I was so confused. After about 8 min of doing nothing I discovered him on the phone FaceTiming a colleague trying to figure out to blow out the lines. He was showing our pipes to this person via FaceTime. He has no idea what he was doing. I pointedly asked him you have never done this before? His answer was no. He tried to insist he could somehow figure it out. I told him that I wasnt taking that chance on our system and unfortunately he would need to leave. In the course of trying to convince me to give him a chance it was apparent he had no clue how to operate the Rainbird system to even turn on a zone. I was so upset and again called the company to speak with the owner. Again I was told it wasnt possible and they would call me-
Never happened. This company is a disgrace. This company employs workers that are either completely inept or they do not train properly before sending them on job. Clearly if you can never speak with an owner there is an issue. Zero confidence in this company. Would never recommend.
- Company Response
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experiences with our company. We deeply regret that we couldn't meet your expectations, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've faced. We'd like to address your concerns and provide some clarification on the situation.
In both cases, the technicians went above and beyond in trying to provide a successful service. On the first visit, the technician was unable to locate the leak during excavation, which can happen. Unfortunately, sometimes leaks take time to form. In compensation, the second visit was provided for free and we didn't charge you for any parts.
Regarding winterization, in order to provide the service correctly, we need to fully understand how the system is installed and configured. There are many different options for winterizing systems depending on how they are assembled, age of system, type of timer, etc. When winterization through the faucets was unsuccessful, our technician tried to find a solution to the problem, most likely a pinched pipe, by contacting a technician who was already at your address. However he was asked to leave.
Unfortunately, sometimes we may not respond immediately, but we always respond to our customers within 2-3 business days. If you still have any concerns, our owner will be glad to address them. Have a pleasant day.
