Cheap for a reason. I had to buy a suction cup to get my window closed. Customer service laughed at me for not being able to close my 2nd story window. Been weeks and still no call back.

I have been trying for over five months to have broken cranks fixed on two of my home's windows. Initially I was told that it was not covered by warranty. Later I was told the warranty was in effect. The company said they would arrange an appointment in a few weeks. They arrived two weeks later without warning as I was on my way to a funeral. Obviously I could not have the work done.I called again to book another appointment. The new appointment was for September 30. To my delight a technician showed up only to tell me that he did not have the correct hardware. A new appointment was booked for today October13. I have just received a call on the very day of the appointment to say the crank is not under warranty and it is outdated as well and cannot be fixed. These windows are 9 years old and they are telling me that there is no way to fix them ... they say I need new windows! They have bounced me around for five months, told me there was no warranty and then that it was covered by a lifetime warranty and now say that even if I was willing to pay they can't fix the windows. On top of all of this, most of the contacts have been extremely rude and dismissive.

Poor service. Lacking any customer service. Had original builder window needing replacement. Took 5+ visits and 5+ windows to get proper fit for their custom window. They couldn't get the template right. They damaged the trim. Windows are defective and don't hold a seal. One of our windows is not sealed at all.

Now we need to contact them to do another replacement and 3 calls and 3 emails later no response. I get it they don't want to do it but....it's their faulty product. Non existent warranty coverage

If buying a new house ensure they are not the window supplier. Write it in the contract. We will next time. They only supply to builders so they don't have to fix or replace their product. Their warranty is no warranty.

The builder contracted the windows to these guys. Since October there has been 2 service calls scheduled to fix a cracked window and both times the same lame excuse that the "work order was not entered". No further explanation was given and it seemed like they were annoyed that I called them. This company has no interest in customer service and basically brushed me off when I called them. I have rescheduled again and have been promised this issue will be resolved. Until this happens they get the lowest rating possible.

Performance Windows and Doors did the custom windows in our home and last February on one of the coldest days in recent history, a large picture window broke. I called them and they agreed to cover it under their warranty and order the window from the factory without having to come out to measure, as they still had the existing drawings. The installers came about two weeks later and fitted it neatly without leaving any mess.

So far I find the quality of the windows to be very good, but I do find that they are expensive comparatively. They do seem to deal with builder contracts which is why they probably charge more.
