Sears Appliance Air Conditioning & Furnace Repair

The temperature sensor on my bar fridge was giving me problems almost the day after the warranty ran out, after asking for this to be considered under warranty I was told no. I took the fridge in to avoid the automatic $80.00 service call fee and they said it needed a part that was on order after keeping my fridge for over a month someone else looked at it and found a loose wire and fixed it. They still charged me $100 to do this even after keeping my fridge for a month and getting the problem wrong. Very disappointed and will not be using Sears repair for anything else.

Had service person in for service person in for annual furnace check i.e. there was nothing wrong at that time. Tech ended up installing sensor in upside down. After tow more trips could not find issue. Had to bring in "expert" tech to finally identify the problem they caused and fix it.

I don't know how these guys are still in business. They were instructed to call my cell so I could meet them at the house...two days in a row they just phoned the house, finally on the 3rd day they arrived and assessed the problem as the compressor. We waited 4 days for the compressor (this is normal, no biggie to wait for parts), then the part arrived and they came to install and said it wasn't the compressor it was the freon (so they had to arrange for pick up of our fridge). Had they assessed it properly the first time, we would not have waited 10 days to have our fridge repaired.
