During a routine annual maintenance checkup the service technician discovered my A/C system was a little low on refrigerant. The company scheduled a follow-up service call for the following week but had to be postponed for another week due to a severe thunderstorm on the original appointed day; not too wise to work on electrical equipment in the rain. The technician (Neil Durning) arrived shortly after 1:00, well within the 1-4 PM window and proceed to trouble shoot the leak source. Within about 20 minutes Neil had traced the leaks to the Schrader valves to which the refrigerant test gauges are connected; the inner valve cores were the trouble. Neil had these replaced with new cores and the was able to re-charge the system and verify its proper performance. Throughout the entire time he was here Neil was very professional and provided answers to all of my questions about what was going on. He was done within 2 hours of arriving and all the work was covered under warranty, my system being just four (4) years old. I found Reliance Holmes customer service very helpful and courteous and am happy to recommend this company. I will be purchasing a maintenance plan shortly such that my furnace and A/C will continue to be maintained & serviced by this firm.

Neil Durling and Warren are our hero's! they are professional, polite, and most importantly, highly skilled and experienced in they work. He came to fix the coil my A/C, and found it that the furnace was burn also . I'm very lucky that they happened to be on call when my A/C wouldn't come on, and they fix it as soon as possible the same day. Also with everything happening Mr. Neil make sure that everything was working OK even call us at home to make sure everything was working after he was gone on his other call... Holmes is VERY lucky to have this wonderful gentlemen's on their team.

Steve and Kyle arrived right on time (8AM) and were very patient while we discussed the details of the installation. I found the information they provided very useful. They went to work and before lunch, my house was getting cool. Their work was very neat and all rubbish was removed. The only thing I had to do is windex off an armprint on my storm door window.....glad they use sunscreen. :)

I have been a Customer of holmes heating now for a couple of years and I am so impressed by their fast and efficient service. Having older Equipment in my home can be disastrous as times but knowing that a Professional technicial will be at your house in no time and make your appliances work is just amazing. If you happen to have Neil as a repair man, you will see how much he cares about his client. Extremely polite and so patient to explain anything you want to know. I was impressed by the expertise of Derek (and Tyler) and the time that was taken to explain everything to me, to ask my opinion and troubleshoot to give the best service. Very knowledgeable and kind and efficient team all around, from the people on the phone to the people at my door.

Neil Durling showed up on time and configured our thermostat to our a/c. It was not adjusted to our correct size of a/c and did not have the dehumidifying function engaged. we appreciate Neil diagnosing these problems in a prompt fashion. Thank you

From the moment that Vaughan stepped in the door I knew I had made the right choice with Holmes Heating; he was courteous, polite, professional and personable. Less than a week later Trinden and Ryan arrived on a pouring wet Friday before a long weekend to do the install. One look at the shawdy workmanship of my existing system and they knew it was going to be a long, long day! Without a word of complaint they rolled out their drop sheets so that none of the mess would be dragged into the house and set to work. They straightened out the mess and went above and beyond to make sure everything was brought up to code and then some! We have had no a/c for a few days during a very hot/humid spell. I called Reliance and was quickly given an appointment.
The technician (Neil) arrived on time - he was friendly and gracious. When asked for his professional opinion on the best equipment, he was honest and very forthcoming.
Neil was polite, explained what he was doing, handled my questions with ease, and provided advice when requested. I appreciate his professional demeanor, his integrity, and his direct answers to my questions.

Neil and Mike were very professional and listened to what I said about the problems we encountered with our AC. They fixed the drain quickly and properly. They also cleaned up after, no mess for me.
