During a routine annual maintenance checkup the service technician discovered my A/C system was a little low on refrigerant. The company scheduled a follow-up service call for the following week but had to be postponed for another week due to a severe thunderstorm on the original appointed day; not too wise to work on electrical equipment in the rain. The technician (Neil Durning) arrived shortly after 1:00, well within the 1-4 PM window and proceed to trouble shoot the leak source. Within about 20 minutes Neil had traced the leaks to the Schrader valves to which the refrigerant test gauges are connected; the inner valve cores were the trouble. Neil had these replaced with new cores and the was able to re-charge the system and verify its proper performance. Throughout the entire time he was here Neil was very professional and provided answers to all of my questions about what was going on. He was done within 2 hours of arriving and all the work was covered under warranty, my system being just four (4) years old. I found Reliance Holmes customer service very helpful and courteous and am happy to recommend this company. I will be purchasing a maintenance plan shortly such that my furnace and A/C will continue to be maintained & serviced by this firm.
