Reliance Holmes Heating And Cooling Ottawa

We had to do an emergency furnace replacement in the dead of winter, on a weekend. We got estimates from several companies. The estimate from Reliance Holmes was about $100 higher than other companies, but they were willing to put the furnace in on a Saturday, when other companies could not do it until Monday - so we thought this was a reasonable extra cost for weekend/overtime work.

Our sales rep, Vaughan, was straightforward and efficient, and came by during the installation to make sure things were going OK. The installers were polite and clean, and explained things clearly. Parts that we have to adjust, clean, or replace are clearly marked with labels (and even arrows!). The furnace has been working great for 9 months now.

When summer rolled around we found our A/C wasn't working, and wondered whether something had happened to it during the furnace replacement. Reliance sent a tech out quickly and discovered a small error had been made with the A/C wiring during the furnace work. They fixed it right away at no cost.

We were looking for service, and we found it. Although they are not the cheapest around, we are very happy with our new furnace and with Reliance Holmes in general.

I recently had Holmes Heating in to do a oil to gas conversion and install. Thanks to Chris Monohan and John Palmer for the professional service they provided, Both guys worked extremely hard to get this job done and with very little disruption to our household. Thanks too to Tim Walsh & Trevor Thibault who ,installed my water heater as and additional request . all of the guys were polite and cheerful while completing this for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Holmes Heating has provided excellent service for us for 30 years. Recently, I needed some assistance in programming the thermostat for our new Carrier Infinity furnace. Sean came to the rescue! He was polite, eager to help and clearly demonstrated the procedure. Thanks Sean!

Amazing team! Feddie helped tremendously to establish the best option for us - and even stopped by with heaters to keep the family warm at night until the furnace could be installed. The installation team completed the furnace, AC and tankless water heater install in one day, and left the site clean. Derek walked us through all the equipment, and clearly explained the new features and functions. No issues at all with the install or the products. I have always been happy with this company, and highly recommend them

When Neil Durling is scheduled to do the maintenance on my furnace, I can rest at ease; he is informed, capable & helpful; I mentioned my concern with the air flow, to which, in addition to the inspection, he paid particular attention; we discussed the trouble and the likely cause. Conclusion: given the age of the furnace, replacing it is most likely due, although he assured me that it was still in operational. Neil gave me the name of a salesperson who would assist me in making the appropriate for my home.

I just had my furncace cleaned by Neil D. and he did an excellent job. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Neil before and now I ask for him by name when booking my annual maintenance. My system is a bit more complicated than some with having a heat pump as well as a furnace, but Neil always makes me feel confident in his abilities. He is also a very nice person and that is a rare find. Great at his job and nice too! It is because of the expertise of the technicians that I trust all of my equipment to Holmes Heating. Michael and Scott cleaned the duct work. They were extremely careful of all furniture, hardwood flooring, etc. Made sure all was tidied up before leaving. Both gentlemen took time to answer any and all of my questions. This is my second duct cleaning (once every 5 years) by Holmes and I will have them back 5 years from now.

Great recommendation and advice from Neil Durling at Holmes Heating as we were not sure what we needed and what type of furnace would be adequate. The installation was done properly and professionally. We are very pleased with our new quiet and efficient heater. We can't even hear the fan. Neil also recommended a few things like adding a return air duct in the basement and that made quit a difference. I am sure our house will be warmer this winter. Called Holmes Heating & Cooling because my furnace was not working. They provided a 4 hour window for the appointment. Neil arrived at the start of the window time. Neil was very pleasant and understanding, he repaired the problem quickly and efficiently. Neil also provided good information to follow with the furnace.
