Lux Windows & Glass Ltd

We selected LUX after reviewing most of the window manufacturers available to us in Calgary. We chose to install aluminum clad vinyl casement and fixed windows, and fiberglass doors. Our installation team (Jack, Melissa, and team) arrived exactly when promised, and proved to be the highlight of the event. We found them to be extremely capable, professional, detail oriented, and their work was impeccable.

We would highly recommend LUX as a manufacturer, and Jack and Melissa as and installation team.

This is the third time I have dealt with Lux Windows and each time it was a pleasure. They are very professional and the products are excellent. It is the only place I would purchase doors or windows.

I've used Lux windows in the past and was very happy with the service and product I received. Upon needing to replace my kitchen and bathroom window I called Lux once again. I received additional quotes and Lux came in less than others.
The service I received from the time of ordering, to booking the appointment for install, to the installation itself was excellent. The two men that came out were warm and professional.

We wanted to get a new front door, as our current one was just a basic door that was likely what the builder of the house installed. It also had light coming through the cracks, which probably means air was coming through as well. From the start, we received very friendly and timely service, from coming to our place for a consultation, to providing us a with quote. The installation process went very smoothly and the installer did a great job (I think it may have taken a bit longer than he expected, but it was fine). Overall, we are very happy with our new door. It looks fantastic and actually fits properly! We would certainly recommend Lux to anyone looking to have a new door installed, and we will definitely use them again when it comes time to change our windows. Thanks Lux!

I have a 25 year old duplex and began noticing drafts coming from my windows in several rooms. A buddy of mine at work used Lux to replace his windows and raved about them, so I gave Lux a call. Steve came to my house and gave my an overview of the products to consider and then sent me an estimate for my windows - even telling me which windows could wait a while longer to be replaced, since I didn't have quite enough in the budget to replace them all. I went to the showroom to make my final selections and even that was a pleasant, low pressure experience. When Carlos and his team came out for the work, they were friendly, neat and very professional - and when they were done they returned my house to me the way I left it. They were flexible with my schedule and were quick to answer any questions I had. My new windows look fantastic, my home is much quieter and there are no cold drafts! Overall, I am more than happy with the work I had done by Lux Windows. Very well done.

Lux windows was recommended to me so when I decided to replacement my windows I chose to use them. I have been very happy with the whole process. Every one I dealt with, Glen, Erin, Amber, Ian, and Doug were very helpful, pleasant to deal with and professional. My calls were always returned promptly and all my questions were dealt with timely. I love my new windows!

Our initial impressions with Lux Windows were quite positive, but quickly soured. From our initial 7 week install wait it was an additional 4 weeks late starting. They broke the sash window and latch during the install. When the sash was replaced it was installed crooked and the installer never made note, we had to point it out. Lux's installers are ok with substandard work is our assumption. Service people were routinely sent out on numerous occasions without all the parts or tools while all this was happening.
We dealt with Kevin the Service Manager after initial install. He gave many assurances the problems would be addressed, but never stepped in to personally make sure they were. Lots of assurances and no action.
Our nearly four and a half month ordeal with Lux for one door is totally unacceptable. On top of that the sash/side window has been taken apart three times for servicing, which make us question the integrity of the final product.
John the owner did call and apologise and sent us a flower arrangement, which was a nice gesture, but doesn’t guarantee the final product or make up for the inconvenience we went through.

Renovated a house and decided to replace the front and back doors and a window that had the glass bricks in it. I had two other companies come out and I was very unimpressed with their prices and products. Suzanne from Lux came in and was incredible, she had great suggestion and I loved the products. Since we had a lot of work going on in the house I found Erin from Lux extremely accommodating and great to work with. The installer were very nice, worked very hard and cleaned up after they were done.
The end result was, a beautiful front door that my neighbors, family and friends commented on. I need a new window upstairs and a new basement door, Lux windows and doors will be my only call this time.

Do not , I repeat do not hire these people. These people are not very honest. Its s not the sales people ,its the management. In fact they make a great product. I ordered windows over a year ago and doors I put a $3000 deposit on them under conditions of approval of the condo board Lux proceeded to cut my windows, then they refused to install them. I contacted my lawyer and LUX still would not do anything about. I paid for my windows in July because LUX refused to install them. I paid SIS install to install them. I don't want anyone else to go through What , I just went through. Do not even bother with LUX.

Ordered windows including installation. Got laid off work. Asked for supply only price (self install) with option of resuming installation. Lux provided supply only price but told that they would entertain installation later, should I find employment. I was anticipating new job, to which I would resume original supply & install purchase. I cancelled order, due to lack of empathy, no return calls, & advised installation decline. I was charged a service fee for installer to visit site, to obtain accurate window measurements, prior to manufacturing, . Installer visited site without proper tools and borrowed my ladder.
