Nucasa The Finishing Touch

I went to Nucasa because I needed a special order on a floor product from Bona. They didn't stock it but proved helpful, efficient and friendly throughout. They even sent out their truck specially to help us. Great team. Thanks so much,

I have visited Nucasa many times over the last few years and their service and expertise are always top notch. The only complaint is that I don't always get helped right away but when I do, their customer service is focused on you. On one visit, I was trying to build a fireplace surround out of different moulding. I had a very tight space I was working with and irregular dimensions so purchasing a pre-fabricated fireplace surround was not an option. I also did not want a floating mantle either. The rep took me through the steps of how I could achieve what I wanted and then pulled all the pieces I needed to make my surround. Lastly, he had some advice and tips on cutting crown moulding which I found to be tricky. I appreciated that he took the time to go through the process with me and offer some advice. This is why I keep going back to Nucasa.

Nucasa Richmond has great service. They didn't have the sample mantle cap that I was looking for on display but Tim was so friendly and helpful that I returned to this store to order once I had the dimensions. Upon pick up, Tim wasn't in but the other service people were equally friendly and showed me various baseboards and flooring. Would recommend Nucasa Richmond without a doubt!

Nucasa has a good selection of various types of woods and sizes. The salesman that helped me was very knowledgeable and when they didnt have the product in stock that I was looking for, he called me as soon as it came in. In fact, he took the time to call me twice to ensure that I had received his call.

We installed hardwood flooring and needed transition pieces to match. With help from customer service, I was able to find the perfect material (a beautiful walnut). For the pieces that weren't available in walnut, I found an environmentally friendly stain that worked perfectly. The staff was extremely helpful and the quality of materials was great.

They had all the laminate and underlay in stock, offered good advice regarding installation and agreed that if we changed our mind about the flooring we picked, they would totally refund our deposit. Downside: even though we gave them a pickup date, they pushed us to get the flooring earlier than agreed.

The salesmen at Nucasa were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about which moldings would look the best for our rooms. They recommended products to us and were able to tell us how much product to purchase. The prices at Nucasa were in most cases less than the "big box" retailers and they had more choices. They were available for telephone consultation if we needed it. I would highly recommend Nucasa for any molding purchases

We looked at laminate floors here and they have a large selection and knowledgeable staff. The downside for me is that it was a bit pricey, so I wouldn't recommend to someone on a tight budget. Lovely selection though.

Huge selection, affordable, knowledgeable staff. I have always when to a big box store for base boards and mouldings however one day in Richmond I decided to check out Nucasa. The selection was superior and more affordable. The staff are helpful, they let me cut over 10, 2-3 inch samples to take home and compare for free. I have always brought my business back to them.

They were attentive to me in the store; they allowed me to take as many samples as I wanted to make the right choice, and they were attentive to details of my installation.
