Sherwood Appliance Repair

We moved into a home that came with a dishwasher. We then received a recall notice for a certain dishwasher part that needed to be replaced. Sherwood Appliance was selected by the manufacturer to do the replacement. They came out, did the replacement, and we thought all was well. Unfortunately, it took us several weeks to realize a small leak from the dishwasher. There was now water damage to the hardwood floor under the dishwasher as well as the side panel. We called Sherwood Appliance and the lady answering the phone was quite rude and said it could NOT have been their repair person that caused the leak but she'd send someone out to take a look anyway. A different technician came out and he said that the dishwasher was put back in place NOT level and that is what caused the leak on one side. There was no charge for him to fix it but they did NOT pay for the water damage to the floor or side panel. I would NEVER call this company again.

This company took time to search out a part that others were saying was unavailable and that a new stove was needed. They installed the part and the stove has been working very well for over two years.

We have a 6 year old whirlpool ceramic top stove, we were using the oven one day and we heard a bang and found the breaker popped downstairs on the panel. As handy as i am the bottom heating element
shorted out and took out the main contoler board. I then called whirlpool canada to complain about this potential hazard, They then dispatched this repair company to access the situation. After he arrived he determined the cause was the burnt heating element. I put a big stink with whirlpool about this dangerous situation but they would not budge.Unfortuately the technician from sherwood appliance repair had his hands tied as they have to follow the instructions from whirlpool and also we had to wait 3 months for the part which meant no oven luckily the burners on top still worked and this happenned in May so we used the barbeque lots.
