Oasis Leisure Centre

The installed pool looks beautiful and is a welcome addition to our home. I would like to have given Oasis 5 stars instead of a low rating, but the experience we had with the installation was very poor. Too many issues to count but here are some: not ordering the pool kit on time which resulted in a significant delay in starting construction (the employee responsible was fired), shipping the kit by the wrong method (train instead of truck which delayed installation by a week), improper measurements for the gas heater line (resulting in another week delay), not fixing a leaking pump before the pool season was over (improper installation caused a crack in the piping), installing the wrong salt cell for my pool (too small for the pool size), programming the salt water chlorinator for the wrong cell size (again), adding way too much salt to the pool (miscommunication between the foreman and the service person). Not having the pool balanced by seasons end resulting in us paying a lot of money out of pocket this spring to do it right. This was promised with the pool installation but not delivered upon. Finally, when I addressed these multiple issues with our salesperson, the person became both dismissive and defensive. They said, "this stuff happens" repeatedly and would not do anything to own up to their mistakes and make thing right. I attempted to contact store manager on more than one occasion to express my concerns, but the person didn't return my calls. They just forwarded me back to my salesperson.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Oasis to anyone who asks. This is sad because the end product looks great. But if this is any indication of the service I will receive in the future I will go with another pool company to take care of that.

I have a long story regarding the lack of support for their products that I will cut short to get my point across. Dispite numerous complaints regarding misoperation, we were told our hot tub worked fine. We took it upon ourselves to do the technical troubleshooting and had to get the manufacturer involved in order to get Oasis to repair the problem. I have also just recently experienced a minor leak at a valve. The hot tub is less than a year old (so full warranty still) and we will be billed for any travel as well as any extra time to drain the hot tub. Really good support - already thinking anyone else is the better way to go.

The installation left ALOT to be desired. What should have taken 3 days to complete took several months - with me (the consumer) being the one giving all the concessions. They led me to believe that there would be a reasonable settlement at the end of the process and I took them at their word. When it was all said and done I had to go to the BBB to get them to reimburse me for my water as they had filled and drained my pool several times. I have yet to see any reimbursement on the installation portion. I know there are other disgruntled customers as the floor installer confided to me that he had to repair several more floors when he was done with mine, and he never told me how many he had repaired previously.

We purchased a hot tub with led lighting at Oasis on a Thursday, and they delivered it free of charge that Friday, it was the best price in town compared to other retailers that we checked out, as well we could not find a hot tub with led lighting that we wanted in stock anywhere but here, we asked if they could do better on the price, and they beat the tag price by $300, which was more then we expected, making such a big purchase we were defiantly happy that they discounted the price, they have good customer service, and have a wide selection of different products, and as well they will bargain the price for you and beat it. Such a great company to deal with
