Where to begin?? Ill start with the total incompetence of the retail sales associate we were assigned at the Goemans store in Whitby. Normally, one would have to practice to be as bad at her job as this poor soul was. Uninformed, unaware and completely out of touch with any and all of the lines we inquired about. The only reason we purchased from Goemans was that they had a Tax Free Savings Event PLUS manufacturer incentives; otherwise we wed have run screaming out of the store.
So, fast forward to the point that we have purchased and taken receipt of well over $40k worth of appliances and we are now ready for large column refrigerator and freezer installation. Goemans Installation department has booked, bumped, rebooked, cancelled, rescheduled, bumped, bumped again and as of this writing, still has not confirmed an installation appointment. I have been on intermittent hold with the Goemans Installation Dept. for OVER TWO HOURS trying to get a date booked. Every 20 minutes or so, one of their ineffectual Customer Service reps comes on the line to say that they are waiting for a supervisor or manager to become available to speak with me.
I will just leave this hereif you are looking for a decent and competent appliance retailer, cross Goemans off your list and keep looking.
