Pandemic Delivery

The delivery/installer man arrived on my doorstep wearing a bandana. I offered him a new, disposable medical mask. He refused it. I then said there is no way you are entering my home without a proper mask. He reluctantly trudged back to his truck to put on a mask.

Why the fight?
20,000 Canadians dead not enough evidence for you to do the smallest thing and put on a real mask when entering a stranger's home?

I will never use Goemans again and advise you to do the same. Especially in the midst of a global pandemic.

GAS RANGE PURCHASE

Absolute nightmare-DO NOT SHOP HERE AND THANK ME LATER! Range was purchased in SEPTEMBER and told we would get in late October due to COVID. Never heard a thing so I called to inquire and was told by some rude guy named Dwayne that I later found out was from the call center in JAMAICA who tried to actually double charge me for delivery.
I purchased 3 appliances but my $2000 range was delayed on their end so would be delivered separately from the other 2 appliances and therefore I should have to pay extra? I finally called Mississauga to deal with them direct and have been getting a huge run around saying it will be in next week which keeps just getting extended by a week. It is now January and still no range with no end in sight. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The service is now absolutely awful and I am still dealing with this mess of an order 4 months plus later! BUYER BEWARE!

Bosch Dishwasher

Ordered a DIshwasher in September, Delayed, Called customer service, most useless scripted conversation with rep, not their fault but absolutely useless.
Tell me the same thing everytime, that was a an eta, we are not sure until the delivery comes as to what will be on the truck. Ok great, that helps, can I speak to your manager please, not one in at the moment. Well can you have them call me please. Yes we will add to your file. Can you also please call me next week to let me know when it arrives. Ok great. That has been happening now since our first estimated delivery end of September and I call week after week, they tell me the same thing, no manager ends up calling me.

Icing on the cake last week the item was confirmed to be in stock, get the email confirming delivery, 3 guys very professional bring the dishwasher in the house, perfect not a scratch super friendly, (Outsourced delivery company) open it up, wrong dishwasher, they load it back up and apologize profusely, not their fault. Speak with another rep who says it's coming today, no call from a manager again, no updated provide, I have to call them, supposed to be delivered tomorrow, not happening.

Worst experience, they should provide realistic expectations to their clients. Have a manager call people to discuss problems, no idea how they are still in business, will never use them again in my life and will let everyone I know about how horrible they are to deal with.

Good on the reps for staying calm during the phone calls, can't say I always have been able to do so.

Terrible experience

1. The sales guy sold us the wrong stove. 2. They screwed up the delivery date after I had arranged for the gas guy to be there. 3. After we installed it we discovered the oven was broken. 4. Manager so so rude and unapologetic on the phone. Would do nothing for us.
We were left without an oven for 4 weeks. Absolure disgrace of a company. Do not buy here.

Extended Warranty

I purchased 5 applicates and spend over $4000 I was recommend to purchase the extended warranty. I spent another almost $1000 to buy the extended warranty I was told it was an extra 5 years total of 6 years. When I called to fix my dishwasher I was told it expired 2020. I am not happy customer. I will not recommend Goleman to anyone.

Not really helping when call for service

I have 5 appliances. I tried to call service as my microwave is tripping arc support breaker. They can’t locate me from model and serial number. They always ask Invoice number or phone number of the person made purchase. What a great system. I bought my new apartment and moved in. Appliances were installed there. I don’t know invoice number as builder bought 100s of units from Goemans they don’t have that info. Still waiting for them to book a call. Goemans should have a better system. Selling appliances and warranties, but no use.

GE Washer purchase

Purchased a GE washer from Goemans in September 2020 washer #1 appeared 3 weeks later damaged in transit. Washer #2 appeared 7 to 8 days later damaged in transit. Washer #3 appeared October 8 no visible damage. Was installed by Goemans washer is defective and GE will be coming it inspect why it will not run.
Do not recommend Goemans to anyone their customer service is the worst.
October 15th contacted GE direct for service on new machine that will not run. Serviceman found a
disconnected wire to main circuit board. Unknown why wire was disconnected on new machine.
To date there has been no follow-up by Goemans customer service. Very disappointed with the handling of this purchase will never do business with this company again.
October 23 received a call from the same GE serviceman this week. He had been finally been contacted by Goemans to repair (get this) our new dryer. It seems that Goemans can't even get the right appliance for repair let alone do it in timely manner. My suggestion is bypass Goemans customer service and let the manufacturer figure it out otherwise you will have along wait for service.

Very poor after sales support

They told us the appliances were in stock and reserved, took our money and haven’t shipped our purchases. The Kitchener store manager doesn’t even have the common courtesy to return calls. We have spent hours on the phone with their shipping department to no avail. Avoid these guys at all costs.

kitchen/laundry renovation

I purchased 7 appliances in Aug 2019), inspection and installation. The sale person ordered my fridge panels wrong. They had the nerve to ask me to place 84" panels on an 80" door. I told them to return them and bring me the right size. The sales person charged me another $500 to order my new doors, saying its policy. Policy to charge me again after I had already paid my balance. The sales person ordered the wrong door panels again. 6 weeks later I still don't have them. The manager is no better. I explained that I can't use my fridge and my children can't use. I told them after the second mistake that they need to reimburse me. All I am told is we are working on it? No one apologizes no on holds themselves accountable for their actions. They made the mistake why do I have to pay for it repeatedly from their incompetence. I left a message for the regional manager. I wont hold my breath. Its funny how when someone does something wrong they try to hide it or blame someone else instead of saying they made the mistake "twice". This is suppose to be a place of business and that behaviour is disgusting. I work so hard to make my dream kitchen and this experience is one of the worst ones for me. I am still waiting for my "correct bill of sale" b/c the original is wrong. I am exasperated from this experience.

Multiple Calls

I purchased 4 matching, LG black stainless appliances from the London store in March and had them delivered in May. The fridge was dead on arrival and my complaint is that no one - LG or Goemans, would take responsibility. Me, the customer, was forced to call each company NUMEROUS times over a 10 day period before LG said they'd refund Goemans the cost of the fridge so I could choose another or get my money back (I couldn't do that as I had to match the other appliances - I NEEDED this fridge). I left two messages with the London manager to contact me and he never did. I wasted so much time and had so much frustration and can't believe the customer was forced to make so many calls. One call should have been made and the problem dealt with.
What a bad experience.....
