Adt Protectron - Out of Business

I love the overall system. I have the interactive services package so I can remotely arm and disarm my system right from my iphone or computer. It's an excellent product and the company delivers very good service!

I have been happy with service and every time I call the customer service department they have always resolved my issue! I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend Reliance Protectron.

Terrible, terrible company! Zero customer service! I took over a contract from my mom and once installed they continued to call her on a regular basis. We had nothing but trouble and got no where trying to phone them. Although I took over a contract from my mom, they insisted that when I set up the system in my home, this was the start of a new 5 year contract! They even sent a collections company after me! I would warn anyone to stay far far away from this company!!

This company took advantage of my mother, a disabled senior citizen. The system was placed in such a way as to compromise my mothers safety and well being. She is locked in a 5 year contract with a system she does not know how to use and who takes ~ 1 week to even call to set up service calls.

ADT is horrendous! I have attempted to change my credit card with them 4 different times over mail. I tried calling in once and even that didn't work! I was lured in by the 'free' system with the long contract...but the system is junk and the service is even worse! Pay more and go with another firm...

God Awful customer service and incredibly high monthly charges. Save yourself the hassle and money and do not sign up with this security company. Would definitely not recommend these guys to anyone!

We recently moved into our new home in Vancouver this spring. Our place already had an alarm system but its a rather old system. So we decided to give ADT a call and explain our situation. ADT great customer service and very knowledgable staff. We didn't felt any pressure in upgrading our system, which I felt with other alarm companies. Would recommend them to friends and family.

I receive a call the day of the appointment to let me know when the specialist will be arriving. He was ponctual. The premices were clen after work completion. However, I find the price a little bit on the high side since the air conditionning requires very little maintenance.

I am wondering if there is a group out there that has filed some sort of group complaint against Reliance Protectron? If so, then I would be more than pleased to join this group. I was a customer since 2010 and when I could no longer keep my business due to poor sales, I had to close shop. In February 2014, I contacted Reliance Protectron to inform them that I was going out of business and had to file a consumer proposal due to financial loss. I asked them to cancel my services and since I was not in arrears with any payments, I thought that this would be a straight forward cancellation. NOT THE CASE, they said that my contract was not over until August 2015. I explained to the CSR that I was going out of business and had no use for their alarm system. She said that it would cost $526 to cancel my contract. Can you say EXTORTION! The worse part of all is that they are now contacting my emergency contacts to get the payment. I trusted that information to Reliance Protectron and they informed me that my information would only be used in case of an emergency if they could not get in touch with me if my alarm was triggered. Well, they are now using these contacts to get their payment. It is pure extortion.

Hands down, the worst service I have ever experienced.

These people just don't respond. Installation took a whole month to coordinate and make happen. Now there's a component that's not working and after two weeks of follow up from my end: nothing! No response!

Would not recommend them to an enemy... Can't trust them with responding to an incident...
