Be careful with what the salesman’s talk about vs what’s in your contact. We had a fight on our hands to get equipment promised verbally. It looked like it was in the contract, but the iAquaLink wasn’t put in specifically and we signed digitally so we had to fight. Construction was shoddy. They had to re level and re line, fill twice. Footprints left in the base under liner. And now although maintenance says included on the contract, which we were told verbally covered first closing, they are demanding payment to close. Picture shows how this guy ruined the raked bottom of the pool as they were relining, and now I’m just glad to be rid of them.

Actual pool is good. BUT they destroyed my driveway, 1/2 my backyard and even parts of my front yard. Made my backyard and area around my pool very dangerous for my pets and my grand daughter, the whole reason we got the pool. They left huge ditches and wholes so bad that even adults couldn't walk around them. Had to pay another company to come and fix it because they said that they are not responsible for any damages they do, even if they are unreasonable. The workers apologized and said they would fix it but then head office wouldn't back them up and left my property as a hazard zone. BE CAREFUL with them, they promise the world then don't back it up.

Really really sad because love the pool and would have been a 5 star rating other than they destroyed my property and said "oh well your tough luck"

I have to say that Pioneer Pools installed my in ground salt water pool 8 years ago and the service from start to finish was amazing ! 8 years later I still get the best most professional service ever!! I have had issues like a floating liner that is not related to the work by pioneer pools but rather the extreme rain and I have been looked after with the most respect and timely matter. All the staff and managers know how to treat a customer right and take care of all their needs. I highly recommend Pioneer Pools as you will have peace of mind and its a pleasure to deal with them! I am in the works of Installing my above ground pool heater so I went into the store to ask questions/advice on how to install it. I spoke with Carl for awhile about it and he was very knowledgeable about the products and gave me excellent advice. I also had some other questions that I was unsure about so I emailed him and I got a response very quickly. I have always bought everything from this store and I would recommend speaking with Carl if you have any technical questions, problems or issues. A big Thank you to Carl!

Pioneer Pools friendly knowledgeable staff put me at ease with making all the decisions necessary in putting in a pool. They were able to work well within my budget and helped me through my entire planning process which in addition to the pool itself included fencing, electrical and gas line installation and decking. If you need help in finding a contractor to complete work that they don't do themselves they have professionals that they have worked with before and found to be reliable that they can put you in contact with. This helped tremendously with my installation as the outside contractors were familiar with Pioneer Pools and their installation methods. Pioneer Pools crew showed up on time when they said they would even though it was snowing! They worked through the snow and mud and completed the installation as they said they would. But they didn't walk away then. They have someone who takes you to "Pool School" and spends several hours with you making sure you understand the workings of your pool. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend Pioneer Pools.

I had Chris from Hamilton Pioneer Pools walk us through the process of picking the right shape, and size pool for our yard. From day 1 we could see he knew what he was talking about. Our pool was completed ahead of our scheduled installation date. The install team were also fantastic. Once again you can see they've been doing this for a long time, and they know their stuff. Pool looks beautiful, because we listened to Chris and took his advise on a dark blue liner. We would HIGHLY recommend Chris from Pioneer Pools. YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

We had our pool installed in the summer of 2018, and are happy with it. The pricing was a bit above middle of the road, and the service was good. There were a few delays getting it installed, but most of that was weather related. There was one issue with the design, in that there was no concrete poured from the gate to the concrete pool border. We did not pick up on it, but we think it is something they should have caught. However when we asked them about it, they put in a couple of nice patio stones to bridge the gap, at no extra charge. We also had them install a wood stove pool heater. It was their first time installing one, but they were accommodating and did a good job.

We are happy with our pool, thought we got good value for our money, and would have no problem recommending them to a friend.

Purchased a pool heater in the summer of 2018 without financing. About three months later, out of the blue, I receive a letter from a collection agency demanding that I pay Pioneer Pool an additional $325.00 for the heater with the consequences of not paying that they would damage my credit rating and possibly take me to court! In didn't realize that a store could increase the price of something after it was purchased and expect to be paid retroactively. I obviously refused to pay it and now I've been informed that the amount "owed" was sent to the credit bureau. I've shopped at that store for over ten years. I've purchased pumps, filters, piping, salt, and patio furniture all of which adds up to more than $10,000 over the last few years and I am very concerned that at any point they will come back and say that they've raised their prices on any one of the items I've already purchased and expect that I will now pay the difference. It's absolutely crazy! Please let me know if Pioneer Pools has done this to you. I intend to fight this unethical practice and inform my neighbours in the Lorne Park area about the potential issues of buying anything from that store.

We could not be happier with our pool design, construction and installation. All subcontractors were great and pioneer pool staff were all professional, well versed in swimming pools and friendly. Everything was done on schedule and the pool makes us feel like we are at a resort on vacation, every day!
