All of a sudden our main kitchen drain was seriously clogged, after trying to deal with it myself, no luck. Found Roy here and all of the 10's he gets are for good reason.

Like everyone says, he is honest, upfront, knows his stuff and get the job done right. All the while letting you know whats going on, what not to do in future to avoid anymore problems and is an all round great guy.

He was in and got the job done right, price is very fair and no BS. I will recommend him to everyone i know and in my area, most homes at least 80 yrs old there are often problems.

Roy did a great job in inspecting and removing the roots from our clay pipes. He also provided a video tape with the recording of the inspection. Roy is very professional and friendly. Thank you.

Roy was fantastic and came to fix my drain on a Sunday morning. Great communication - we were able to work out a mutually agreeable time. He spent a good 2 hours fixing our drain and was informative, friendly, and gave us great advice. The price was at least $20 lower than any other quote and I found him refreshingly above board and upfront. I will definitely be using Roy and Mayday Drain Services as my go-to plumber from now on!

After seeing Roy's outstanding reviews here, I gave him a call re: our badly clogged kitchen drain pipe. He answered quickly and was able to come see us a day earlier than expected, which was fabulous. Not only did Roy recommend an excellent plumber to help with our other problem involving kitchen pipes leaking in our wall, he was able to recommend a general contractor who could fix the wall afterwards. Roy was truly outstanding in every way - knowledgeable, friendly, affable, honest and a consummate professional. He was able to unclog our badly clogged, grease-filled drain quickly, even though it was located in a cramped and awkward area. He protected our carpets and cleaned up so well afterwards, that you couldn't tell that he'd even been there. He also gave us tips on maintaining our drain. The fee that Roy charged for all the work and time he put into the problem was so low, that I felt we were undercharged! How's that for a nice surprise? I can honestly say that this has been the best experience that we've ever had with a contractor - I can't believe that there are such honest people out there like Roy. If I could give Roy 11 stars, I would! He certainly exceeded all my expectations and I heartily recommend him for any drain-related problems you might have. Three cheers for Roy!

We needed to have our drains inspected and after reading the reviews we obviously chose Roy. He showed up on time (in fact I was late) and was amazingly pleasant to speak to. I had absolutely no idea what to expect but he explained every single step of the process. It literally felt as if I was receiving a free lesson on drains. He definitely knew his stuff.

Roy was honest and had great work values. His prices were “not” reasonable because they were actually cheap. He could’ve easily made up some bogus stories but that’s not Roy. After the work was done he even dropped me off (I had to get back to work). It wasn’t exactly part of the service. However, it easily shows you why he gets these perfect ratings. If had more thumbs they would all be facing up.

I've used Roy's services in the past and once again I found myself in need of his service again. My drain was starting to backup again from the tree roots in my pipe. I called Roy and he said he would be by at 12 the following day. Sure enough as 12 rolled around i got a call from Roy saying he was close to my house. When he got there he promptly dealt with my problem. He did not try and snake me for more money and he left the place as clean as it was when he got there.

I'm in the service industry and i can assure you that Mayday Drain Service is second to none. Well done Roy. Thanks for all your help.

We had a sewer back-up several months ago and put it off since it seemed that it fixed itself, but I was wrong. Called several company before Roy since they were in the top ranking. I was quoted $1800 for a p-trap replacement that lead from the inside of the house to the outside. After arranging a firm price I had the work done seeing that this was the cause of the problem. Well after they replace the trap they mentioned that I had a collapsed pipe further down in the house and an additional cost of $1800 plus roots in the outside near a tree $4200. This is where I decided to stop and look for another company. Called Roy and he returned my call the same day, we arranged a time and day for the inspection. He was very friendly and didn't have a problem answering my questions. When I mentioned what others had said he just laughed and said "Someone has to pay for all the advertising". Well at the end he did agree with a blockage in the inside of the house which he mentioned that he could get 90% out if I was on a budget but agreed that it needed to be replaced for a proper job. He mentioned that the city would re-imburse me for the replacement. He looked that the outside near the tree and said that it was minor roots and no need to worry about it. He looked further down and saw that the water wasn't flowing as freely as it was closer to the house indicating trouble. He said to call the city and have the sewer checked out from the city side. He was kind enough to give me a quote for the work inside the house and the telephone number for the city to inspect the problem.

I called Roy to assess the state of my home's basement drains after a flood and sewer back up. Of all the various insurance people and contractors who had looked at my home, Roy was the most helpful. He located the drains, which others had not been able to do, was able to provide a clear statement, in writing, about the nature of the storm and sewer system and provide a clear recommendation for my insurance company about work needing to be done. He gave me good advice not only about my drains but also about my weeping tile and foundation, and his assessment of the situation has turned out to be the right one. Personable and professional, he was more than willing to go above and beyond for me.

I had to waterproof my basement and Victor and his team did an amazing job! They not only removed the old weeping tile that no longer worked, they added an extra drain to make sure that the new weeping tiles would not clog up and suffer the same fate. Victor also created concrete footings to make sure that soil from my century home would not continue to block the weeping tiles. All in all, the job was done well and with clean. They also cleaned up quickly and took extra measure to protect my driveway from damage from the bin. I would highly recommend Victor and his team again and would definitely use their services in the future!

We've worked with Roy on two occasions since we bought our first house and couldn't be happier. Our first job with him was to have our drains scoped and cleaned, as recommended by our home inspection. Roy was able to come by within an hour of me calling him to give an estimate and then start the work. He identified a problem with our drains and recommended a colleague who could replace them for us. Before we were able to have our drains replaced as he recommended they backed up spilling sewage all over our basement on a rainy sunday morning. I again called Roy who was able to come by within an hour to help us out. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend Roy to anyone!
