Made an appointment to get my Samsung Fridge looked at due to ice and water buildup under the crispers. Explained the issue over the phone and included the serial number of the appliance. Made the appointment on the phone and got a confirmation call the day before (that's what the star is for). Showed up during the time frame of appointment (other star) and that was about it. In and out in 10 minutes, didn't look in the fridge, explained what could be done, cost $530 to fix it. No guarantee, no warranty and only 40% chance to fix the actual problem. Mentioned the model was defective.
Passed on that offer and will be getting a new fridge. Biggest issue is that this could all have been relayed over the phone without an actual visit. Paying $100+tax for someone to be in my home for 10 minutes and providing details that he didn't need to be in person for just doesn't sit right with me.
Might want to look elsewhere for appliance needs or try to ask questions over the phone to avoid a visit.
