This was the worst wood flooring installation that I have ever seen. The floor had extensive gapping, wood filler, many open seams, damaged flooring and walls, and the wood floor in the master bedroom was installed unsquare. I had a NWFA certified flooring inspector inspect the job and the bottom line was he recommended that the floor be completely replaced. They would not fix the issues and will not refund my money.
Postscript! We ended up going to court on September 26, 2007 and Fudelli settled with us for $3,500 conditional on them removing the floor at their own expense with no further damages to my property. Even with amount, we still lost money on deal after having to pay for the professional flooring inspector, court costs and service costs, etc., but at least we got most of our money back.
