I met Andy and Laura at the home show and booked an appointment. They showed up on time and gave me a fair price. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the initial installation date due to an electrical issue and Laura got me another install date quickly. The installation staff were polite and took pride in their work. Surveyed my property and made rcommendations. Gave me a detailed list of what to do and also the option to install myself. I decided to let Frank do the work and he did it in a timely and professional manner. He even cleaned up his work. He installed door guardians, new and stronger strike plates, fixed the jambs, and installed a set of window security bars. Overall, a great experience and I will have Frank back to some additional work. My family and I will sleep better knowing we have good protection from potential break ins. Dealt with these guys for several years and then they jacked up the rates for me as an existing customer. $9.99 is not for long-term customers according to their customer service and so I cancelled when I was advised my new rate was $12.99. Nice to see a company try to take a 30% increase in a time of recession and not give additional value for services received. I found a local guy that matched their increased price to take over my system and he will also service it.
The rate increase on 3rd year renewal is unfortunately a necessity in order to continue to deliver high quality service. We do send notification in writing so our customer has the option of renewing at the new rate or looking for another monitoring option. We also have a rate GUARANTEE at $9.99 for our seniors :). I wanted to install crown moulding on the second floor of my home and after seeing two other companies decided to go with Trimworks by Design. My salesman Fred was very professional and gave me an excellent quote. I needed the job done quickly and he arranged for Rick (the installer) to come in three days later. Rick showed up on time at 8:00 am and did a fabulous job installing the crown moulding. It was finished the same day. He was neat, tidy and cleaned up during and after the job. He also took the time to explain what he was doing and happy to answer all of my questions. The moulding was installed nicely and all nail holes and joints were filled and ready to paint. My experience with Trimworks was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family or friends. Thank you Rick for the great installation job.

After interviewing several local companies, I choose Millenium to replace my existing stairs. They did a great job and were on-time and budget. The new stairs and railing are stunning. The only thing I wish that could have improved the job was for Millenium to stained and varnished the job (they do not do this work and it was not part of the quote). I had to hire another firm to do this. I am quite pleased and will be hiring them to do another railing system in my home.
This was the worst wood flooring installation that I have ever seen. The floor had extensive gapping, wood filler, many open seams, damaged flooring and walls, and the wood floor in the master bedroom was installed unsquare. I had a NWFA certified flooring inspector inspect the job and the bottom line was he recommended that the floor be completely replaced. They would not fix the issues and will not refund my money. Postscript! We ended up going to court on September 26, 2007 and Fudelli settled with us for $3,500 conditional on them removing the floor at their own expense with no further damages to my property. Even with amount, we still lost money on deal after having to pay for the professional flooring inspector, court costs and service costs, etc., but at least we got most of our money back.
