Derek and Team had their hands very full with a major pruning of our 70 foot Oak. This was not their largest job but a 9.5 on the level of difficulty! They arrived on time and immediately got to work climbing and rigging this massive tree which a major section was over our entire roof structure! Needless to say we were nervous but the controlled mayhem was flawless in execution! They were quick, tidy and always there ready to answer our questions and concerns! I highly recommend this organization and will be utilizing their services in the future! Thanks Guys!!

Derek and his team were amazing. Derek was at my house within a couple of days of my inquiry and provided me with a reasonable quote. On the scheduled day of the work, Derek showed up right on time with a crew of 6-7 skilled guys. One of the trees was precariously leaning over my home, and the skill that Derek and his awesome team showed in safely dropping the tree was incredible. The other 3 large trees were dropped and chopped within a couple of hours, and all brush was shredded and taken away, and the stumps were all ground down below the ground surface. I will happily recommend Derek's Tree Service to anyone who needs a top notch, no BS arborist; and, I will definitely be using them again for future work on my property. Thanks, guys.

Derek was quick to provide a reasonable quote and was able to accommodate a tight timeline to remove a diseased elm tree from our property. Derek promised a clean, efficient process and he more than delivered on his promise. The work area was left undamaged, debris was removed, and we are completely statisfied with his work. First of all, this website works!! I looked up Derek's tree services on Homestars.com; based on the reviews and project images, i decided to give them a call. From that point on, my dealings with Mike and Derek was pretty upfront and professional. They were honest and experienced at what they do. Mike came by to give me a quote and view the work site. Once we agreed on the number, they informed when they would like to come by to execute the project; on the set day, by the time I came back from work - the one big tree and the two smaller ones were gone, with all stomps grounded away. They also cut up some pieces for me for the fireplace, and discarded of the rest. I am very happy with my dealings with them, and I will most probably use them again in the near future. Use these guys and you can't go wrong.

Bob and his team did a great job removing a spruce, a bush, and a few stumps in the front and back yards. It was a long day for them but they worked cheerfully. They even took the pain to access the backyard from school yard. A job well done!

Again..Derek's team was so efficient and polite. This time took down a huge Ash tree in stages with ropes and chainsaws because of its location. Fascinating to watch and gone in less than 2 hours, not a twig in site after. James' chainsaw talents unbelievable. Can' t recommend them highly enough.

James and his team were fabulous. They were professional and answered all of my questions. They pruned three of my 40ft trees with ease and their clean up was great. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree services.

Peter and his guys were awesome. Came in and cleared out all my fallen branches after a storm. They did a great job. I'm definitely going to use them again and recommend anyone who needs work done to give these guys a call.

We had a massive pine tree in our backyard that needed to come down. After doing some extensive research and contacting several tree removal companies, Derek's Tree Service stood out from the get-go. I received a reply to my initial email almost instantaneously and Derek himself came out for a quote before the other companies even returned my call! We ended up getting three quotes and found Derek to be very competitive in price - moreso, he seemed very responsible, reliable and cared about his work. This proved true of his crew as well. On D-day for our big tree, Derek and his team arrived at exactly the time agreed upon and got right to work. Within a matter of hours, our massive tree was down, the stump was ground, and there was no mess left - just a tidy pile of wood that will keep our fireplace going for years and mulch for our garden. Derek even removed a branch off a neighbouring tree that was precariously hanging right on our hydro line at no additional cost! His team were extremely pleasant and professional and I would highly recommend them!
