I agree with previous reviewers, the teamwork is amazing. Today the guys removed 2 cedars with stumps, cut several branches of a huge fir tree that were hanging over the lawn, and carefully cleaned up after them, all in 40 minutes. They were very attentive to requests and fulfilled them precisely. Highly recommend.

WOW! Bob & his crew came and like a well oiled machine, they had 6 trees down, stumps removed, all debris removed and we had a yard of cedar mulch for the garden. It was a pleasure to watch. Amazing team, they sure looked like they were enjoying themselves. Spotless when they left. All completed in 1.5 hours!! For the amount of work done the price was very reasonable.

Derek and his team of professionals were AMAZING! They were on time and very professional with their work. Derek went beyond his call of duty and helped me deal with a very irate neighbour by recommending a solution that appeased both parties. Even their clean up was better than some of my previous landscapers' work. I would recommend these guys to everyone! Prompt, courteous and professional! Who could ask for anything more?!

Derek's Tree Service has worked at my home over the last 10 years or so, trimming trees, removing damaged and fallen limbs and removing both large maple trees and silver birch.
Last Thursday, Derek's team of professionals worked effectively and efficiently to take down a 70 foot maple in my back yard whose roots were breaking into my sewer pipes. The job, including clean-up and removal of all debris from the yard, was completed in under 2 1/2 hours.
Derek and his crew were friendly, polite and willing to do whatever we asked of them. we would highly recommend him. Thank you Derek's Tree Service and crew for a job well done.

I am extremely happy with how everything worked out today! The team was friendly, professional and hard-working. They were fast at getting the tree down and cleaning up the area. I will highly recommend them to any of my friends and family.

To say I am satisfied is an understatement. I had four quotes to remove a massive silver maple, and prune to large silver maples that hadnt every been maintained but had a lot of damage. Dereks team was professional, had an army show up and did the job efficiently in one day (everyone else said it would take 3 days!!!). Hard working bunch and they did an incredible job. My neighbours marvelled at what they accomplished. I am very glad I went with Derek. They even chopped down a small tree that I had forgotten to mention. I would not hesitate to use these guys again, and I probably will when I need maintenance on my trees. Clearly these are professionals. Were they the cheapest, no, but Id hate to trust a job of this importance to the lowest bidder, rather Dereks price was fair and value for the money. UPDATE: I had an issue where a couple of pieces of wood left were cut too large for me to move (there was a chain in it making it dangerous to cut) and a sliver of stump was left in the ground buried in the sawdust, easily missed when a tree this large is cut down. Derek sent out his guys to grind out the remaining stump and cut into smaller pieces the remaining large stumps. Thanks Derek, I am really happy.

While at Streetsville Arena watching a hockey game I came across a team that was sponsored by Derek tree service. When telling another parent that I was actually in need of tree service, she pointed out that Derek the team sponsor was in attendance. After being introduced, we scheduled an apt for him to come out and see what needed to be done. I didn't realize they work all year. We agreed to have the tree removed and I am very happy that we chose Dereks Tree Service. They were quick and knew what they were doing. The property was left clean with no issues but a happy client for life. Thanks Derek and crew, I will recommend you guys to all my friends and family.

The morning after the ice storm we were stunned at the amount of damage to our 2 huge Maple tree's in the backyard . We new to call Derek's tree service as our sons baseball team was sponsored by Derek and he always said if we ever needed tree work to call him , well that morning we had to call. They were very busy as you can imagine but we were assured that he would come by and assess the damage asap.
Derek came by that day and gave us 2 quotes , one to remove the trees and one to remove the damaged limbs in order to save the trees . We decided to keep the tree's . Derek and his crew showed up on the date agreed and in a few hour's both tree's had had their broken limb's removed and the mess was cleaned up . We were impressed with the care and attention Derek's crew took when removing all the limbs and branches as to not damage our property . We definitely would call Derek again .

Great service- showed up on time and were very friendly. They did a great job on the tree and cleaned up everything after. This is the second time we have used Derek and would again when needed. I would highly recommend his services!
