ENTIRE DUCT CLEANING!!! So very happy with the service I got with Chris and his crew. They both did an amazing and thorough job cleaning my ducts. Chris came highly recommended through my Father-In-Law who had his ducts cleaned after a major renovation over the summer of 2018. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I'll definitely be using Chris again in the future and will confidently recommend him to my family and friends. Finally I was actually quite impressed with how clean their Van was. It was literally spotless!! A true indication of the job they would eventually do at my house :)

I signed a contract with Jason at my home in Mississauga on April 14 2018. With a project start date of July 18. I got a call after the date saying they could not do the job then. I asked them to call back with another date in August as I was going off on vacation. I never got that call back. I Finally placed several calls in September to Jason's cell phone left several messages. I also called the customer service line several times but no one picked up those calls. On September 20 2018; I finally sent a fax and e-mail to Jason in Edmonton cc'ing customer service; requesting a full refund as per terms of the contract agreement. I gave them a bout 4 weeks, still no response and I sent another email October 23rd again request a full refund. On November 01 2018, I finally sent the final email (attaching the Govt. of Ontario's consumer complaint notice) stating that I would now be handing this off to the Ontario Consumer Protection Agency. I still have not heard back from Enviro paving. I am now in the process of formally filing that complaint; which could generate a fine of up to $50,000 against the company. I would not advice anyone to use the service of this firm for two reasons – (1) it appears they have no representative here in (the GTA) Ontario – As I only noticed months later that Jeff was based out of Edmonton; (2) They have blatantly refused to respond to any of my communications to resolve this issue. After several attempts to contact this outfit by the Ontario Consumers Protection Agency. Enviro paving has now been added to the "CONSUMERS BEWARE LIST" https://www.consumerbewarelist.mgs.gov.on.ca/en/cbl/search A fraud related report is also being filed against the Jason and company with the Toronto police.

I arranged and got a quote from Avi, it worked out to be about $5/linear feet more than wooden fencing. The neighbourhood felt it was a worthwhile investment for never having to worry about a fence again. Avi came round, arranged for the surveyor to peg the properties who he charged $100/ homeowner; and then he started his project, working his way through the neighbourhood. We were all very happy with the decision and quality of his work. Almost 6 years later we have had no issues with the fence or the work done. The vinyl fence still looks like it did the first day it was installed. The only negative was I really did not like the gate, as it was too light and cracked at the hinges, but he came and replaced the whole gate within the first year; but in my opinion the manufacturer has to do a much better job or weighting the gate so its not so easily movable by the wind and they need to do a better job with the hinges. Avi’s Service is descent; I find texting back and forth is the best way to stay connected with him; but he does get busy, so scheduling time for him to come out was sometimes difficult; but generally responds immediately. I’d recommend him and the vinyl fence product he installs.

First if all its no small feat to shell out tens of thousands of dollars on home Reno projects; but when you do you want to know it's appreciated and that you are treated with some respect as the person dolling out the doh! In this regard, I had nothing but an extremely professional and pleasant experience with Pat Bolger, the sales rep for this company. Whilst there was no pressure; he knew his stuff. I needed a new roof to replace my 10 year old decrepit shingles. I wanted something more permanent and was ready to invest into a lifelong solution for my investment property. I researched the companies around and got several quotes, I decided to go with Classic Roofing. Pat came to my home in Scarborough at the time to present his company to me. A week later I let him know I was going with him. Once the deposit was paid it took about a week to complete the job. Their installation staff were great as well and very accommodating, and did everything I requested of them. The site was left clean and the home stands out in the crowd. Great product! Great service! Wonderful employees! I would definitely use them again and recommend them! Kudos!

I used these guys in 2009. Hopefully things have changed with this company. An in all fairness companies do, but this was my experience which I "posted" on another online review site at the time: After receiving a quote from "Eugene" to move our stuff from Mississauga to Toronto. I sent a detailed list of our items to move. everything seemed OK. i mentioned i had a apartment sized piano, which he said was fine too. No extra charge, just the cost of moving the house which he estimated would take about 6 hours plus one hour of travel. All at $89/hour. Well would you know! On the day after moving a few things into the truck, the movers then mentioned there was going to be an extra $160 to move the piano., plus a cost of moving furniture from the bed room into the truck, and another extra cost for moving stuff from the basement into the truck. All this on top of the hourly rate!! I was livid!! I called and spoke with Eugene, who at this point was not willing to even meet half way on the extra cost! I told him how deceitful and dishonest he had been and that this temporary move was going to be the last with his company if their word could not be trusted. I reminded him to look at the bigger picture here - I had earlier told him were moving into a temporary location and would be moving again in another 10-12 months, once our home was built. But he was adamant about the extra cash. We were in a bind, we had to move out that day, so I got off the phone and told the movers I would pay them what they wanted but would not pay any extra on moving things from the bedroom or basement. Eugene had not ever mentioned that as an extra in our previous discussions. He specifically mentioned there were no extra costs, given we were well packed already! Anyway they had us moved, I paid them about $1080.00 CND cash. The movers mentioned Eugene would send me an receipt when via email at a later date, as they had to put in some paper work and could not give me one on the spot. I have requested that receipt since our move in April 2009, with a few more days to Christmas, I still have no receipt, and no responses to my emails and treats to report them to Revenue Canada. IN CONCLUSION: If you do decide to use MM, do so making sure your quotes are in writing and stay firm. Give yourself options - never move at the end of the month.

I used El Cheapo for my final move in June of 2010 from Lawrence & Dupont to Warden & St. Clair, after being burnt by another not so Miracle-lous company a year and a half before with a move from Winston Churchill & Eglinton to Lawrence & Dupont. ElCheapo was recommended by a co worker who had nothing but amazing things to say about them. Price-wise they were competitive; personel-wise they were amazing! The 2-man crew worked really hard. Very cheerful and respectful of client and property alike. I would recommend them any day, and would use them again in a heart beat! Don't let the name fool you - they may be priced right, but they are far from a cheap low quality outfit, their customer service is top notch. They kept within budget and time, enough to move onto their next job as scheduled. Needless to say they got a big tip from me!

First of all, this website works!! I looked up Derek's tree services on Homestars.com; based on the reviews and project images, i decided to give them a call. From that point on, my dealings with Mike and Derek was pretty upfront and professional. They were honest and experienced at what they do. Mike came by to give me a quote and view the work site. Once we agreed on the number, they informed when they would like to come by to execute the project; on the set day, by the time I came back from work - the one big tree and the two smaller ones were gone, with all stomps grounded away. They also cut up some pieces for me for the fireplace, and discarded of the rest. I am very happy with my dealings with them, and I will most probably use them again in the near future. Use these guys and you can't go wrong.

Dealing with Solsmart team was a really pleasant and rewarding experience. Peter, the sales rep completely put me at ease and explained the whole system to me. This is a turn-key service provider, taking all the stress of dealing with different government agencies out of your hands. Their installers were efficient and experienced and have a great deal of respect for your property. I have since recommended this to about 8 neighbours so far. One has actually also installed the same size system with SolSmart. The financial returns based on their projections are pretty accurate. They also have a lot of references of other home owners, which I took advantage off, and all had nothing but great things to say about their installation experience. On the last day, Brian, the owner of the company came down to see the final completed project and he was pleasant to speak with and was quite knowledgeable about the industry as well, being an engineer himself. I recommend SolSmart to anyone wanting a MicroFit installation – on a side note, it is puzzling that not a lot of people in Ontario are taking advantage of this programme!

What can I say about Derek and Jim. Seasoned professionals for over 30 years, Artistes and experts at what they do. Cordial, courteous and fairly priced. They are immaculate and take immense pride in what they do. They are very accommodating and really nice people. Our search for solid wood furniture in the regular big box stores, and on Dundas street in Mississauga, and Kennedy in Scarborough has been long and frustrating journey, consequently we started searching for custom solid maple bed-set solution as a reasonable price, and they delivered. What they delivered far exceeded our expectations. We were extremely happy to tip them. And a few months later they are now working on a custom home office desk, and wall cabinets for both sides of our fireplace – I'll post a review and photos for those projects once delivered and installed. It is truly exciting waiting to see what they will deliver this time around!! Thumbs up!!

I connected with Anush August 9 2012, the day my negative experience with RENO-PROS ended. Anush was honest, courteous and hardworking and was on the Job the day after saving the project. The quality and speed with which he executed the project and the final outcome, saw my whole neighbourhood flock to this company to get their interlocking executed. I was extremely pleased with his work and continue to recommend him 1 year later. So far he has picked up 10 projects as a direct result of my one project, all averaging about $4K each.

I signed a contract with Jeff of Reno-Pros. I gave him a 50% deposit, Reno Pros delivered the interlocking stones initially to the wrong address. That got fixed within a day after calls from myself and the neighbour. Jeff had also arranged for a waste dumpster to be placed on my driveway by ML Disposal for the duration of the project, no more than 2-4 days. After missing the initial start dates Reno Pros finally started my project. (DAY 1): Reno Pros did one day's work, while (DAY 2 & 3): worked secretly on another project, then dumping the debris of these project into the dumpster and dumping my waste behind a city power box across the road. Unknown to Reno-Pros, my neighbours, who had similar projects to do were watching this all unfold while I was at work. I confronted Jeff on this via text (on Day 3), as he had not answered my previous calls. He replied, via text taking no responsibility, then walking away from the job leaving the dumpster and garbage on my driveway; as well as a damaged driveway, damaged fence panels and post, a damaged wheel barrow and their abandoned, trashed wheel barrow. Thankfully I found another installer instantly who did an amazing Job finishing the project for about the same cost. the new installer has since picked up ALL the interlocking jobs in my neighbourhood, as well as another $10K job in Mississauga & other neighbourhood/family referrals. In the meantime, the Police, the City of Toronto, my Counsellor, and MPP's offices, and neighbourhood contacts at ML disposal were contacted to force the removal of the dumpster, now overflowing with landscape waste and other garbage, since Jeff refused to answer my calls and email requesting its removal. A complaint was also logged with the Ontario Consumers protection agency. This business is flagged by the Government of Ontario Consumers Protection Agency under the Consumer Beware list.
