We had a massive pine tree in our backyard that needed to come down. After doing some extensive research and contacting several tree removal companies, Derek's Tree Service stood out from the get-go. I received a reply to my initial email almost instantaneously and Derek himself came out for a quote before the other companies even returned my call! We ended up getting three quotes and found Derek to be very competitive in price - moreso, he seemed very responsible, reliable and cared about his work. This proved true of his crew as well. On D-day for our big tree, Derek and his team arrived at exactly the time agreed upon and got right to work. Within a matter of hours, our massive tree was down, the stump was ground, and there was no mess left - just a tidy pile of wood that will keep our fireplace going for years and mulch for our garden. Derek even removed a branch off a neighbouring tree that was precariously hanging right on our hydro line at no additional cost! His team were extremely pleasant and professional and I would highly recommend them!
