Gas stove repair

I purchased a gas stove that ended up becoming such a pain in the neck. The oven stopped working after several uses and needed to be repaired. Many companies were unable to service my appliance despite being under warranty. Commonwealth sent a professional and knowledgeable tech to help out. Many thanks to Ryan and the Commonwealth team for the excellent and friendly service they provided.

Very Satisfied Repair of 6 month old Fridgidare Fridge

After 6 months, our new fridge started making an odd noise. I recorded the noise and called the 1-800 Fridgidare Support line. They assigned a work order to Common Wealth Appliances. The service we received was fantastic, polite and respectful! Due to the nature of our issue, the first visit did not 100% fix the problem, but a second visit did the trick. Both technicians, Ian and Ryan, were excellent. I highly recommend Commonwealth Appliance Services.

WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - INCOMPETENT

INCOMPETENT people at Commonwealth Appliance. WORST customer service I have ever experienced as well. The day they were supposed to come, they called to say that they were ordering parts instead. This was despite my detailed explanation on my initial order to KitchenAid, an extended call with service person when I booked the appointment, and waiting two weeks for the appointment. On the day the person finally showed up, he had no equipment or parts, and had no idea what he was doing. There was a subsequent appointment booked, but they did not show up, notwithstanding a call to say they would be attending at my home! This has now happened eight, yet EIGHT times. This company is part of the subcontractors used by KitchenAid, which is the only reason I put up with this unprofessional behaviour. Shockingly bad service, as well as incompetent service. KitchenAid should NOT use this company. If I could give less than zero, I would.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

New Maytag range from Leaside Home Depot for my Mum who lives in a seniors condo. After 10 months the oven dangerously overheats to the max setting every time you turn oven on. Product under manufacturer's warranty. Commonwealth are authorized service providers in the GTA. So far: 4 technician visits and 3 parts in 1.5months by Commonwealth and oven still not working. Each part takes 1-2 weeks from Commonwealth and calls to Maytag/Whirlpool = 45-60min wait time.
Tech shows up today with the wrong part again! Reordered 4th part for next week. Maytag wont replace whole range "unless there is extenuating circumstances". I guess this isn't "extenuating" enough.
6 months ago it was the brand new Maytag dishwasher, same ordeal.
Will never buy Maytag/Whirlpool products nor again.

Worst service for Whirlpool Fridge repair

Technician was scheduled to come to my house to fix the fridge, no-show tree times, no explanation given. Terrible attitudes, incompetent technicians. Also their internal communication is sloppy and inefficient. Do not go to this company, you'll definitely regret it.

Whirlpool designated repair company

First tech said dishwasher was leaking due to too much rinse aid. He missed service window and was 1&1/2 hours late. Didn’t even apologize. DW kept leaking and second tech (Rohan) was great. Had it fixed within 30 minutes. Needed a replacement valve and he had one. Rohan gets 5/5, first dude gets a 1/5. Ask for Rohan.

Awful

Dishwasher was under warranty so I was forced to deal with these folks.

First repair call was cancelled 1 hour before the service call.

On the third day tech refused to install the dishwasher after repair.

When I called to complain, the woman on the phone argued with me and hung up the phone on me.

At no point should this ever be considered good customer service. Both Whirlpool and Ikea should be ashamed of themselves for using such awful service.

Appliance repair

Absolutely horrific from the phone contact to the appointment to the service call these people are the absolute worst had to escalate this warranty repair to the highest level even then I am still waiting for this Fridge to be fixed three weeks in.
Poor family no working fridge for three weeks and this close to Christmas, how would you feel.
I cannot express how disappointed I am, being a Realtor for 25 years and dealing with homes, appliances, movers, repairs, and renovators these people take the Rotten Tomatoes Award.

Contracted by Whirlpool for servicing appliances

I had to use this company, unfortunately, as I called Whirlpool about my KitchenAid fridge not working properly. The company is very unresponsive and does not return phone calls or emails even after being contacted by Whirlpool. I don’t trust the technicians in terms of their expertise and whether they can diagnose a problem specifically. The two technicians I had come out were very polite and friendly.

Taking the reservation is the easy part

Keeping the reservation is the hard part.

Whirlpool assigned Commonwealth as our service provider. Our repair date came and went. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. Radio Silence.

My recommendation is, if you'd like to have something serviced, and by that I mean have someone arrive in person with tools and parts they use to do a repair, then Commonwealth is not a good fit for you. If however, you enjoy making appointments and taking time off work to sit around and wait and wait and wait - then by all means schedule appointments with this lot.
