Ever since I discovered this amazing company, they have been the only plumbers that I use. Integrity, fairness and expertise is guaranteed. Thank you!! I don't use them often, obviously because they are so great but they would be the only plumbers I would call Thank you Gus!

Our basement has been leaking for years, because the entrance stairwell, which is exposed to the outside, didn't have proper drainage (or any at all actually).

Gus and the crew were amazing, professional, kind, and fast. they explained everything thoroughly and went the extra mile at the end to make sure the job site was spotless.

They dug out a trench, created a drainage entrance, and even though we've had some pretty crazy rain, it's been bone dry down there ever since.

This is the 2nd time I used Gus. He told me to shut of the main water as I ws very concerned on flooding my neighbour below in the condo. He arrived promptly. Gus is old school and tells it like it is...there is no BS which I appreciate. He also is very busy because he is good.

I called Gus on a Thursday about a leaking toilet. We texted and emailed back and forth about the issue and the type of replacement toilet I would like. On Saturday morning he arrived with my new toilet and had it installed in about an hour. As he worked, he explained and showed me what had caused the leak, and how he was repairing it. New toilet looks great in the bathroom. Gus also assisted with the disposal of my old toilet. Thank you Gus for your help. Gus is courteous and professional. Highly recommended!

Gus at City plumbing has been our plumber for many years and I trust him completely with any plumbing issue. He is reliable,dependable and responds right away. This year we've had a plethora of small things pop up - a mysterious leaking tub drain, an unexpected drain pipe behind a stove, DIY surprises etc. Gus responds in no time always - he's just a text away. He's gives honest opinions, very conscientious how and if the homeowner should spend money. If he's booked, he has team members pinch in for him and they've been great as well. A local handyman in Riverdale recommended City Plumbing and Drains when I needed some advice about my old basement toilet which was leaking a little. Gus answered the phone immediately, reassured me that he could help, and offered to come over the next day to take a look. He suggested a new toilet and explained why. He helped me narrow down my options, and I asked him for a few days to think it over. When I made up my mind, we agreed on a date for the installation. Gus drove to the store that morning, and picked up the new toilet for me. He also brought an assistant to help him take out the old one and install the new one. The whole thing went very smoothly. Gus is very capable, very professional, and also a warm and friendly guy who I don't hesitate to recommend.

I have called Gus at City Plumbing quite a few times over the last 15 years. Each time I am surprised how quickly he answers the phone and then responds within a day or two. Installing my dishwasher wasn't straight forward but using his problem solving skills he got the job done efficiently even explaining the problem to me. Clean up included breaking down the box for recycling, and taking the old dishwasher to the curb which I appreciated. Costs are very reasonable for the significant amount of time needed to do both tasks. Before leaving Gus checked that the tap and the dishwasher were working properly and that there were no leaks.

Gus has been snaking my clay pipe storm and sanitary drains for eight years now. I have two trees on the lot that keep sending roots into the old, clay pipes. Gus responds immediately to calls/texts and arrives even on weekends for emergencies. He has two types of snakes (with horseshoe cutters, too) that clear out all the roots and problems. He is clean, efficient and has critical thinking skills to analyse and diagnose the situation. He has also changed faucets and repaired other plumbing issues for four family members.
