I have a small 10' galley style kitchen. The total renovation consisted of 5 upper cabinets and 4 lower cabinets. Not a big job. The reason I went with Aya was that they did it all. Painting, tear-out, install and plumbing.
It is hard to find a contractor to take on such a small project.
The cabinets are plain white thermafoil. Nothing fancy, easy to wipe down.
When they did the tear out they didn't bring garbage bags, brooms, vacuums, etc. The painter used my upstairs bathroom to clean his brushes even though I asked him not to. The installers arrived without the drawings. I printed them off for them.

The installers didn't have a vacuum so they didn't clean out the construction debris from the drilling. It is quite difficult to clean out a base cabinet after they have installed the drawers.They caulked one cabinet to the window frame but not the other one. I get it, things get missed. It is up to the project manager/salesman to find these errors/omissions and correct them.

I am still cleaning paint off my kitchen floor, toiletries in the bathroom and any other surface you could get paint on.

95% of the work is good. It is that last 5% that is disappointing. Apparently you should expect flaws and damage on a new install and live with it. The project manager didn't even look for deficiencies. When I pointed them out I was "too picky". Why on earth would I expect perfect?
The salesman was by today to give a "fix up" paint pen. Yep, it is up to me to fix all the dings, dents and flaws with a little paint pen.

I don't know if the Aya standard, but if it is stay away.

New installs should be flaw less. There shouldn't be dings and chips.

We took possession of a townhouse in Oakville that had a tired kitchen and decided to replace it. Their showroom in Mississauga helped make the design process much easier. Their installers always came when scheduled, and any missing or defective areas were changed out afterwards. We had a great experience overal, and ended up with exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend them!!

Kirth gave me excellent ideas for my new kitchen, including my 9ft. long kitchen island. she knew I wanted a big island as I like to cook and she came up with an excellent design. She helped me to choose the right colours for my cabinets and the island.

The installers were very professional and used their creativity and expertise to make some last-minute changes that were required on the day of install.

So much storage in our new and efficient AyA kitchen, we have a drawer dedicated to all our potato chips and popcorn snacks!

We are very pleased and excited to have AyA kitchen installed in our home. This was one of the best renovation decisions we have ever made! We chose AyA Kitchen, because they manufacture and install their own product. If we are spending this much money, then the best choice is the personal service offered by AyA Kitchen. Lucia Basnakova designed an efficient kitchen to replace an old worn down kitchen. An expert, Mathew Murphy, installed our kitchen and an inspector came to review the work. All our questions answered and any adjustments were immediately addressed. This gave us a renovation peace of mind.

Lucia Basnakova, our kitchen designer, did a great job to ensure that we have abundant storage. Large drawers allow pots and small appliances to be stored out of sight. She managed to install a handy four level basket storage system in place of a “lazy-susan”. This is our favourite feature in the kitchen! Lucia applied great use of space, so that the toaster and slow cooker do not have to be moved when in use. We love the under cabinet lights and the overall look of the kitchen

We are very happy to have our sink centred nicely to the kitchen window. Lucia designed the kitchen to accommodate the whole family and have a smooth flow with our dining room. We have generous counter tops. The two floating shelves give an airy and open feel to the kitchen. We love this feature too!

Lucia and the entire AyA Kitchen team were very helpful from design to completion. The help went beyond the kitchen design. We even received guidance in the floor colour selection, so it would work nicely with the new kitchen cabinets.

Kirth is very professional in dealing with her customers. She is very knowledgeable and detailed oriented. Kirth responds to queries in a timely fashion. She made sure we obtained the specs for our new appliances and how they would be incorporated in our newly designed kitchen. We were so impressed in dealing with Kirth during our renovations to our 30 year old kitchen that we recommended her to our daughter and son-in-law, who are working with her at the present time.
