First off, they were responsive and accommodating when setting up the appointment. When the appointment came, Phil and Randy were there early and got started right away. Their friendly nature made it easy to ask any questions I had throughout but it wasn't necessary to ask too many because of how thorough they were. Because they work as a pair, inspection was done in around half the time others take (1.5 hrs. vs. 2.5-3), which saved me time. Inspection report with pictures were sent to me the same evening, along with an email from Phil offering to answer any follow-up questions we had. Very pleased from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

I had to replace a kitchen on a pretty tight timeline and contacted Jay. He was very accommodating to squeeze my job into his schedule and his price was also very competitive. Based on previous (very positive) reviews of his work, I was optimistic and he absolutely did not disappoint. Jay's work is excellent with a great attention to detail and a patient and thoughtful approach to issues encountered along the way ... and there were a few! I couldn't be happier with the final results of the work and on top of that, Jay has repeatedly insisted that if anything comes up in the coming months that I'm not happy with to reach out and he'll come back to make it right. I'm pretty sure I won't need to take him up on that but it sums up his attitude towards his clients and the pride he takes in his work. I will be recommending Jay to friends and would happily hire him again in the future, as finding his mix of high quality work, reasonable prices and commitment to client satisfaction are not easy to find!

From my first call to Dave - who answered directly (a rarity with contractors these days, especially ones booked several months in advance like him) - to him taking full and instant responsibility for an issue that arose after the job, the whole experience was impressive from beginning to end. Beyond Dave himself, it is obvious that he hires his crew to reflect his way of dealing with customers - as they exhibited the same courteous, helpful and competent ways like their boss. I would not hesitate to hire Dave and his crew again and will enthusiastically recommend them to any friends or colleagues looking for someone in the future. Knowledgeable, friendly and extremely thorough, Abraham and his brother went above and beyond to do an excellent job cleaning our rugs for a very competitive price. Couldn't be happier with the quality of service and will not hesitate to hire again and recommend to others!! Needed some area rugs cleaned after we had a flood in our basement. Abraham was initially extremely helpful (returning a call on a Sunday evening) in explaining in detail what to do to get rugs fully dry, how to prevent mold growth and possible options to get them cleaned. He even recommended considering a competitor who is able to do more thorough factory cleaning if I did encounter mold growth/strong musty smell, showing he was much more concerned about our family's health than making money from us. Thankfully, I didn't need the offsite cleaning for mold and now I have like-new rugs cleaned with eco-friendly products that my kids can play on without worry. This is what all trades should be like to deal with!!

I needed to have a single window replaced in our home and found Alexander's ad on Kijiji. He answered my request for a quote promptly and came by the next day. He was thorough, professional and very knowledgeable - showing me the quality issues with our old window (ie. why it broke) and explaining the higher quality and solid warranty of the product line he installs and trusts after many years of doing this work. Quote was very competitive, window arrived when expected and install was done on schedule. As promised, the work was meticulously done (this window now makes our others look sloppily done) and site was spotless when he left. Would/will happily recommend to others and will not hesitate to hire Alexander in the future!
