We hired Quasar Painting Group this spring (2019) for an outdoor staining project (approximately 1 week to complete). Despite a very rainy spring, Bryan kept in touch with us about the start and end date of the work. Bryan initially came out to our home to complete a detailed quote of the work that remained true to cost and was competitive. Ryan completed the sanding and staining and once the project was complete, it looked better than when it was brand new. We weren’t able to provide the original stain colour, however, they were able to find us a perfect match, perhaps closer to our deck colour than was originally used. Ryan respected our home each day that he was here, cleaning up every day and was tidy even while he was working. The work that he did was meticulous. Immediately after this project was done we requested another project from Quasar Painting Group and this was also done perfectly and with the same level of skill. It was an absolute pleasure to have Quasar Painting Group working at our house and we won’t hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others. The level of service, communication and professionalism that they provide is rare to find in the industry. Our appreciation also to Alicia who provided detailed invoices along the way. They are a great team who provide excellent customer service.

I recently contacted WaterWorks after locating the company through positive reviews on HomeStars. Natasha responded to my inquiry promptly, professional and was very friendly. We were able to arrange an appointment quickly. Prior to the appointment time, Natasha contacted me again to confirm the time and to send a photo of the plumber who would be arriving for the service. Michael arrived on time, even though he was traveling some distance, in rush hour traffic. The repair was completed quickly and Michael was also very professional and pleasant and to chat with. In addition he provided some information not related to the job that was being completed that was very helpful. Afterwards, Natasha followed up to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. I had a great experience with WaterWorks and would recommend them.

I can't say enough about Katie's Wallpaper. The customer service was excellent from the beginning of my contact with Katie, including the advice that she provided to ensure that I had enough paper for the work that I hoped to complete. Ken arrived on time, is incredibly friendly and the installation was absolutely perfect. I'm so pleased with the job that they did and their company. Great job!!! Thank you both.

Previously we had hired a contractor to complete a basement renovation including a 2-piece bathroom (which needed to be moved), our master bathroom, and refinishing our staircases replacing the railings with glass. After 5 months only the master bath was completed and unfortunately required another complete renovation because of the poor workmanship. We were obviously nervous to start again with this project. We met with five contractors, receiving quotes from all ensuring that we did our due diligence. On meeting with Krys (the last), I immediately liked him and knew that I could work with him for our project. On receiving his quote, it was competitive with the others. He asked for no money up front and laid out a detailed payment schedule on the completion of each step. He also provided a detailed schedule of the project stating that it would be complete in six weeks. I remained skeptical of the quote and the timeline. Throughout the project we had regular communication with Krys, and if we needed to reach him, we always could, regardless of the time of day, weekends also. There were a few unexpected and unpredictable issues that arose, all of which Krys provided several options ranging in price to complete. Krys and the sub-contractors who he works with are all very professional and likeable. On many occasions they worked very long days, including weekends to stay on track. They respected our home, our dogs, and us. At the end of six weeks, Krys and his team had completed the entire project, even with the added issues that had occurred. Excluding these costs (minimal) the renovation costs remained the same as originally quoted. The renovation is beautiful and meticulously completed. We could not be happier and have not one complaint. In an unlikely turn of events it seems that our previous bad luck lead us to the renovation of our dreams. We would not hesitate to recommend Krys Construction for your project. Thank you Krys!

As part of a complete bathroom and basement renovation, Beam Me Up Scotty installed the insulation for the project. Scott and his team were incredibly professional and I enjoyed their sense of humour. Scott takes incredible pride in his work and made a point of showing me the extra precautions he had taken to ensure the basement was entirely sealed. I was very impressed with their work ethic, working a 12 plus hour day in order that the sub-contractors scheduled for the following day would be able to begin. They told me that they would be there until the job was done and they were, leaving a clean work site before they left. I would highly recommend this company and we plan to have them back to re-insulate our attic.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work completed by Women Painting and Decorating who recently painted our kitchen and bathroom. They were prompt in providing a competetive estimate which remained the cost of the work completed and they were timely in being able to start the work (around my availability). The job was completed in the time they anticipated it would be, 2 days total. Through all communications and while at our house, everyone involved was very professional and respectful of us and our home (including our dog) and they were a pleasure to be around. They were neat and tidy throughout the job, cleaning up as they went along. A previously poorly repaired leak in the ceiling drywall was fixed perfectly as well as all other patches to holes. The paint was meticulously applied and and the best products were used. I will absolutely use this company again for further projects and would highly recommend them to others.
