The walls were actually properly repaired. After the wallpaper from probably 1950's was removed we found hundreds of major cracks on the very old critical plaster walls. The costumer also saw the amount of work was involved after the wallpaper was removed and she was in shock of the condition of the walls, that's why the extra charge was added. Everything was clearly explained to her and we showed everything closely to the costumer. The job took extensive preparation and patching for many days prior painting. The walls after prepared was primed and painted. The costumer was always involved and saw everything that we did. The walls had no one single crack after the work was done and the final result was approved by the costumer before we left. Please keep in mind that we are talking about a house around 100 years old that was barely maintained for decades with full of surprises hidden behind wallpaper.
The costumer contacted me months after and asked me if it was possible to address a little better one of the walls in the stairway walls. We went there (for free) worked on the wall she requested, also happily repainted a stairway wall and touched up other areas (for free) which was already a bit scratched.
Some time after again she contacted us saying that a crack appeared on her stairway wall and she wanted me back again to fix it. Unfortunately we can not control new cracks, holes, scratches, damages from a house and we can't keep coming back to fix and painting that was already properly fixed and painted that was no under warranty.
We have no problems helping costumers after the job is done, even when it not our fault, we have a great relationship with all of them as you can see from our other hundreds of reviews. The problem starts when the costumer start taking an advantage of us and think that we must to go back even after a year when the job was completed.
