I was having problems with my over hang coming out from my entranceway to my house. I engaged another contractor and got ripped off big time and had to start over. Roof Repairs.ca was recommended to me and Brad, the owner, came over and assessed the problem and after listening to me proposed a solution which was exactly what I had envisioned. The result was a new porch which looks great. And yes, new eve troughs as well for the house. Brad has imagination and design skills. I highly recommend him.

I have been using the services of So-Clean for years and recently had them clean my couch and stair carpet as well as miscellaneous carpets. Great job as usual. When booking my appointment I noticed that they were now offering grout cleaning and signed up for my kitchen and bathroom. I have had no luck with others cleaning my grout but to my delight the floors came out better than new. Thank you So-Clean for your consistent excellent work and friendly competent staff.

My computer died on me one day and I was able to drop it off to Eli immediately and he promptly got back with the news that my hard drive needed replacement and I needed a new computer. That really scared me because I had special programs for work which are really difficult to reinstall plus tons of memory I didn't want to lose. Eli reassured me that I should not worry and I could start up the new one and immediately go back to work. The result was that I could in fact plug it in and go back to work. I am delighted with the end result and the speed with which every thing was done.

My dog and I managed to wreck havoc on our favourite furniture and the rugs over the approximate year since 416-So-Clean were here last. Fortunately the staff are experts at returning everything to a like new look. Even where I spilled a cup of strong black coffee on the hall carpet which is a light colour. They arrived on time and their professionalism continued in every way.

I broke the key in my front door lock and needed a professional to take out the broken off potion so that I could use that door. I called several other firms and got the good old run around over timing. When I called A Perfect Pick Locksmiths they immediately agree to a time and they showed up exactly on time. I got professional work and will call them again next time I need lock work.

I own a 100 year old house in Cedarvale area of Toronto and love its original slate roof. Unfortunately, the dormer portion of the roof had been misused by cable companies and satellite dish companies and needed restoration. Great work involving new slate tiles and copper flashing. Most roofing companies do not have experience with slate but Royal York have delighted me twice with work done. Proper quote and written contract both times. Excellent work.

A tradesman with numerous recent customer reviews gives me a really good idea of what I can expect. In fact, these reviews are so important to the trades that the make sure that I am happy and on rare occasions I have hade the tradesman decline the work as he did not feel he was competent to do the work. I always review the work and I am pleased to say that I have had few negative comments to make.

This is the fifth time that I have used 416-So-Clean and I continue to be delighted with their work. I have a 15 year old dog and he is having accidents with alarming frequency. The guys made everything look like new again. They arrived on time and were polite as well as respectful of our home. I will be calling them again for sure.

My kitchen and bathroom tiles were looking dirty and the grout between the tile was also dirty. Normal cleaning did nothing to improve the look. Green & Spotless were recommended to me by another company in the cleaning business as a company that could help me up. Alex and his co-worker arrived on time and in two hours had my floors looking brand new. I have no idea how they got that dirt out that had permeated the grout and the tiles. They even rehabilitated my walk in shower. I love the work and strongly recommend them for kitchen and bathroom tile cleaning.

When I bought my house 14 years ago it came with a built-in vacuum system which was at least 20 years old then with the same old hose and accessories then as now. The hose had taped up holes and the accessories were held together by duct tape. I did much research on-line but never liked any product enough to buy. Then I came across VacuumsPlus and Marco located on Spadina just north of King Street. Marco was easy to talk to and was totally knowledgeable about what I wanted. With no bother he was able to show me a package containing everything I wanted and made sure I knew how to insert it in the wall. He was confident the hose would fit in my wall outlet but also told me what to do if it did out work so that I would be able to get a replacement that would work. I was really happy to get this purchase out of the way and my cleaning woman was delighted with the new equipment. If my vacuum engine ever give up from old age I will go directly to see Marco.

Like many people I have a dog who does cause cleaning problems. My living room couch was really dirty from the dog and Matthew got it looking brand new as if it had been just delivered from the store. My hall carpeting is a light colour and my four footed friend was sick on it. The acid from his stomach locked in as I did not notice the problem until it was dry. I could not loosen it up at all using soda water and so called in experts believing full well that I would have to purchase a new carpet. Matthew got it looking like nothing had happened. I am so grateful to 416-SO-CLEAN for again coming to my rescue. They also cleaned 2 chairs and more carpet.

I noticed their company reviews and gave them a call. Kyle came by designed a Christmas light display for the front of my house. It included lights on the roof eaves and garage roof, wreath with lights over 2nd floor window, garland around entryway and supplied tree on front lawn with 560 lights. He took a picture of the house and printed it out in his truck on to a proposal quote sheet so he could draw clearly what he had designed. I loved the design, had it installed and have been enjoying it as have the neighbours. Company provides regular drive by review and immediately fixes any wind damage as they just did today. They will take down the displays, store it and reinstall next year for a fraction of this year's price which included all lights and supplies. All LED lights so cheap to operate and came with an automatic timer so no wasted hydro. Best idea of the year for me.

I had an old house that I wanted to sell and the plumber pointed out to me that the old hot water heating pipes in the basement were covered with asbestos like with all old houses with hot water heating. They did a really professional job, on time and great staff.

I was selling a rental property and the City slapped me with a Work Order covering the back yard lane on property owned by me. There was nothing really wrong except there were cracks in the pavement as there are with all City owned lanes. I needed the work done immediately to clear the Work Order. In two days the work was completed, re-inspected by the City and the Work Order lifted. My sale went through and the purchaser got an unanticipated great looking paved back laneway and parking. Excellent work and saved me.

My doors to my back deck of my house were 100 years old, in bad shape and not energy efficient. I put off doing something as I really liked the old look and anything I saw looked cheap. After reviewing all comments in Home Stars I contacted Home Décor and met with Joe Gerring at my home. He recommended fiberglass double doors and retractable screens. I was doubtful and Joe invited me to the plant in Concord to look at the finished product and manufacturing process. I was convinced and signed up. The end result is that I am delighted with the result. Everything was done to perfection including installation, matching paint and finishing touches. I had fully expected to have to bring in a professional painter to finish up but that was completely unnecessary. Great job.

I received a phone call early Sunday morning from a tennant at an old duplex that I own telling me that her kitchen fawcet was spraying hot water all over her kitchen. As the kitchen did not have its own shutoff valve it was necessary to turn off the hot water at the tank which meant both apartments had no hot water. I looked at the reviews and left messages at 2 hoping for a response. New Canadian was the only one to reply and did so immediately. In less than 2 hours later I had the repairs done by New Canadian technician Jeff. I got him to update the kitchen fawcet to a better quality one plus had him install cut off valves for the hot and cold water. I was really pleased with Jeff and New Canadian and would for sure use them again. You should too.

I was looking to get my furniture cleaned but was nervous about damage being done during the cleaning process as the furniture was expensive. The process was explained to me and the job was done. I could not be happier as the furniture looks like new. I also had a couch in my TV room done even though I thought nothing could be done with it as the dog and I have practically destroyed it. Even this couch looks great. Great work and fair price.

I contacted Brian through HomeStars based on reviews. The work done was on time and much better than I had hoped for. I had suffered water damage from leaks in my slate roof and damage included walls and ceilings in four rooms on the second floor. My house is nearly 100 years old and does not have drywall but has good old fahioned hard to deal with plaster. The guys did an outstanding job and there is no evidence of any of the damage. In addition, I had Home Painters touch up the outside to deal with flaking paint and the results were just as good. I really appreciated that with over 10 colours of paint involved that the guys took samples and went off to the store and matched the paint exactly without forcing me to pick from samples. I have more painting to be done and I will be calling Brian at Home Painters for sure.

I had the carpets in a 2 unit duplex I own cleaned yesterday and Matt who did the work did a great job. We all know what a mess tennants leave when they move out but after Matt was finished the carpets were like new. I am going to use them to do my home carpets and furniture. The best was that there was no static about calling 10 minutes before they arrived at my rental property; they just assumed that this is what I would want. Did I say great work. Bob

I have had two projects completed by Mike and they were both done professionally, on time, on budget and look great. I love the look of concrete as there is no grass growing between the paving stones. I own a number of properties and next time I will go bac to mike.
