Submitted a request via HomeStars and Sunlift was is the first to reply. On top of which Reg called me shortly after even though it was a Sunday. I explained what I needed. He said he would come over and have a look on Monday. He arrived surveyed the situation, even checked my other door, which also had a 20 year old opener on it and made a suggestion. I took him up on the offer, and he showed up as planned two days later. Opener was installed. He went over the workings of it and that was that. I found Reg to be very knowledgeable on top of a friendly and personable person. I will definitely use Sunlift again, should I have any more issues?

Got a hold of Prolift to get my doors a tune up/inspection. Way cheaper for the visit and inspection than others. Tyler showed up, apologized a few times for the delay, between traffic and his previous call.. Once here, he inspected the doors, and made a couple of suggestions, that I took him up on. Replace 4 rollers and the cabling... Good thing as one was almost rusted thru in the saddle. He was professional, cleaned up and did not try to upsell at all . Made the suggestions and left it up to me. Great service... Will use them again, if needed

Reaching out during the biggest heat wave in my memory, I did not know what to expect. Tinman was the first company to contact me. I first spoke with Tammy and had a good feeling right off the bat, and I was right. They did an estimate and were also able to obtain an AC unit for my house, which given the demand was amazing. and showed up when they said they would for the install. I needed a Sub panel and decided on a humidifier for my furnace as well. All was seamless. They organized it all, and the install went perfect. Both Geoff and Tammy are great people and very easy to deal with... Friendly and up front. We now have a nice cool home and I am so glad I used Tinman. I'd definitely use them again... 12 out of 10 in my book...

I was thinking of new eaves troughs, have been for awhile, and decided to reach out to a few companies. Got 2 estimates, and Gutter patrol was significantly cheaper than the other one. Moe showed up to do the estimate, was friendly, and professional and gave me a quote on the spot. I then reached out and asked him to schedule me in. To my surprise, he was available, almost immediately. He showed up on time, and had my new eaves trough;s installed in about 3 hours... Cleaned up the old ones, and removed them from the site. They look fantastic, and he routed the downspout on the side of the house that has the gate, so that it emptied, beside the gate, out of the way of our sidewalk. Great work, great price, great people. Highly recommend Moe and Gutter Patrol if you are looking to get any eaves work done :)

I reached out to Open Canopy to get a quote for removal of a 40 year old birch tree, and some pruning on a mountain ash. The reply for a quote was the same day, and a fellow came out to see the trees the following day. I received the quote from Jeremy, literally within hours . I waited a bit, as I was gathering quotes from other companies, one of which I had to poke to get a response. In the end Open Canopy's quote was 200 less for the tree removal alone. I accepted the quote, and on Tuesday, and they were on site, by Thursday. Tree removed, other tree pruned... fast efficient and Prompt. All and all a very positive experience from start to end. I will definitely recommend them if the opportunity arises. Great job from all involved

I contacted a few companies to get an idea of what I was getting into cost wise. Kim was very informative from the start, providing guesstimates, ideas, information, etc. Prompt in replying as well, and even sent links to assist me with my building permit ( never would have found what I needed without her ). The guys that showed up to do the work were on time and ready to work. The first day, Mark, dug, and cut the new hole in the wall for the window. When he left, you couldn't tell he had been there, as the site was cleaned up. The next day, Josh and Aaron showed up, installed the window with the finishing requested, as the room in the basement was previously developed. They were pleasant and efficient. When I got home, the only reason I could tell they had been there was the new window. Basement room was spotless. and the window framing fit in perfectly with the previous development. The very next day, Kim phoned to ensure we were satisfied. In the end this Vel Windows did what they said they would do, in a very short time frame and for the lowest price I had found. It was very nice to deal with a company that puts a value on customer service, as well as delivering a superb product. Would recommend them in a heatbeat. Thank you so much Vel Windows, our new window looks fantastic.
