I have to re do our patio which is interlocking stone because there were many areas which were pooling with water when it rained particularly near the house. As well as having issues with weeds growing in between the stones. I went to a Hamilton builder supply to ask for advice unhappy with the big box remedies. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions and options on fixing the problem.
We were having an issue with our gas fire place not lighting u. The pilot light was working however the fireplace would not always light up or it would take several attempts before igniting. Shiptons took a approximately two weeks before I could get an appointment and when the technician came he said all that was needed was a cleaning. He asked if we had some old newspaper he could use to spread out on the floor so he could put the pieces out and he would vacuum out the fireplace. He did not test any circuits or check any wiring. All he did was vacuum and put the pieces back and cleaned the glass!! The fireplace lit up on the second attempt and he never checked again said its good now. Of course the next time we tried to start it up it would work and I called shiptons and they wanted to charge me again!
Although I am content with services. I was disappointed with the sales person who came knocking on my door. Timing was the biggest key. We had been shopping around for a home alarm system when the salesperson came knocking. He was obviously inexperienced b/c he had miss quoted us on how the system would be installed and monitored. The wrong type of monitoring was quoted upon and we were told would not work with our phone service at the time. After we agree and signed on it was after he left and a couple of days later we were called and told that the system we were quoted on wouldn't work with our existing phone system. Then they wanted to add more charges to our contract. Only after aggressive negotiating on our part did we come to an agreement.
Our basement used to leak b/c of foundational cracks which were unseen in the inspection report. Omni Basement sent in a representative who was excellent and informative with our putting pressure on us when providing potential solutions. He gave us options on repair from short term, long term and economical. We were very happy with the outcome.

we have used weed man for he last 3 years and although I am happy with the decrease in weeds I have seen. I am still not satisfied nor I have I seen an improvement in my lawn. With all the other services they offer which up until this year we were using with the exception of less weeds my grass looks the same. When we stopped some of the other services we kept getting annoying soliciting calls from them.
One custom doorway and side door rplacement
We had 5 companies come in and quote on replacing our front door and casement window(side light) as well as side door. With the exception of Beverley Hill all of which tried to use scar tactics to increase the price of the custom door/side light we needed. The sales person showed us a few different options running the price gambit and different ways we could do the sidelight and door. Giving us full explanation of pricing and options. Educated us without pressure on the which decision was best suited for us.
We had 6 windows and a patio door replaced without issue. 3 years later we had an issue with the 3 upstairs windows where there was a draft coming in. All three windows were repaired without incident in a prompt manner.
