The condo manager told me about several recent bad experiences with demos/renos. My son is a contractor who recommended A&M who were fabulous. They worked well with the condo and everyone was happy. Until covid A&M focused on insurance work. The owner explained that with people at home - houses weren't catching fire or flooding. So now A&M have taken their high quality commercial/insurance work to the retail market. I highly recommend this family business to anyone who need to demolish anything.

Arthur at Catfish has built two projects for me. The first was about 5,000 sq ft with cabinetry throughout. The second was smaller - a kitchen and bookcase in a smaller condo. Arthur stands by his work. If you have a problem a year or two after he will promptly fix it - whether he’s at fault or you are.

I found Yevhen through Homestars yesterday. I had 3 appliances that needed some help. I had called a company that services the brand and was not happy with what I heard. I contacted Yevhen through here and he arrived two minutes before our appointment. He explained what the problem was with the dryer (it was the condo vent, not the dryer), said to ignore the beep on the washing machine (it was working fine, just beeped a lot) and fixed the dishwasher door on the spot. He showed me what had gone wrong and why it would be expensive to order the parts. He did a great work around fix on the spot. Yevhen was the perfect appliance repairman. He didn't try to up sell but rather had an inexpensive but good solutions. I will keep his card and recommend him to anyone. He's also just a really nice guy.

I would recommend them for their lighting selection - but that is all. I had about a $25,000 job several years ago. The very expensive programmable Lutron system never worked properly. There were several switches and a transformer that weren't working. It took a couple of years to track down the problems - at my expense with an electrician. Euro lite would only replace faulty parts - after you pin them down and physically prove the part is faulty - one by one. By the time the problems had been found and fixed Euro Lite was no longer servicing or programming the Lutron system. Throughout this I had accumulated a credit balance for lights and switches Euro Lite had over-ordered. When everything was finished they told me the credit was only good for a year. It was not a good experience. I ended up ripping out the Lutron system and installing a new one - that works. I lost about $10k with these guys - plus the credit of about $1,500. I considered suing - but, it takes time. I have the paperwork - almost 3 years of emails back and forth. Deal with these guys - and Mike - at your own risk. There was one positive out of this - I found a great electrician.

I have a 10 ft shower stall in an awkward location. There was a small leak in an inaccessible place that caused mould. No one wanted the job. Adnac came, removed the glass, cleaned up any remaining mould, installed new metal strapping and a door sweep and reinstalled everything. The glass was taller than expected and they called in a third person to help. They were fast, did great work and were just all round good guys. I highly recommend Adnac and would use them again. I found Adnac through a designer friend and have told her how happy I am.

I discovered mould and a small leak in the shower. I cleaned the mould as best I could. Ross from The Mould Guy arrived within 48 hours of my call. He did his tests. He said I had removed most of it - but discovered mould in the washing machine - since removed. The airtests followed. Great service.

Reasonable price. But, the wrapping paper marked it. It will not clean with soap and water or with windex. I have called several times and the receptionist will not talk to me nor put me through to someone who will. they are painful to deal with. I'd rather pay double the price and get clean glass - or have them at least tell me how to get the plastic off the glass.

Maria built a sofa that had been mis-measured through an error. She took it back, took it apart and rebuilt it. The cushions were not quite right. She removed some down and told me I might need it back after a year of use. She told me to come back any time and she would add more down to the pillows. I would happily recommend her - and will use her again.

I just want to thank you. Andy and Eduardo were personable, informative, tidy and did a great job. Everything you did surpassed my expectations. My contractor had told me the stone and marble could not be cleaned up. With the exception of some deep shattering left by previous contractors dropping hard objects, the marble and stone looks like new. The restorers gave me the option of leaving the marks or grinding them out. I chose to leave them as the grinding would make the floors uneven. I am looking forward to showing the floors to him - and giving him your card.
