We contact Murray Landscaping for a quote to put a paver edging on both sides of our driveway and to redo the front step area of our home. We selected them from the reviews on Homestars and we were not disappointed. From the first contact we had professional and customer oriented experience with them. They took the time to come out to explain their work, asked us a lot of questions, had sample pavers for us to look and made some suggestions on things that we had not thought about. They were on the higher side of the quotes, but when asked they explained why they were higher and the quality of the work definitely shows. The crew was very professional and efficient. We had several neighbours who commented on how professional and clean they were while working on our project. We would hire them again in a heartbeat for any other project we have. They came in on budget and within their timeline. There was one little mistake on the project that they remedied without any issues when we brought it to their attention.

We purchased our home through Monarch and had stellar warranty/customer service care through them. Then Monarch sold to Mattamy and here is where I started beating my head against the wall. I can't for the life of me get anyone at the Warranty office to pick up the phone, return voice mail messages or respond to email messages. I have on 2 occasions been scheduled for warranty work and the trades don't show up which isn't bad enough but it also means I had to take a day off work for no reason. And to add insult to injury, we have a leak in the basement that I have contacted them numerous times since June about with again no returning of phone calls or emails until I reported it to Tarion. Low and behold I get their attention but it was only to see that it is actually 2 cracks in the foundation that needs to be fixed. Radio silence again as I am waiting for them to call and tell me when they will have someone out to fix. I called their main office here in Ottawa hoping to find someone that cares on how their customers are being treated but instead was given the Customer Service number to call. I would seriously reconsider if you are considering building with Mattamy. The trades who actually do the warranty are awesome but the office that as a customer that I have to contact is horrible in customer care.

Very please with the service of this company. I called on a Monday for an estimate and they had one back to me in hand by end of day Tuesday. Their price was extremely competitive so we selected them to do the work. They answered questions quickly about the quote and were able to do the installation within a few days. The quality of the install was top notch, they matched the color to our house perfectly and left the area where they work spotless. I would recommend them without any hesitation. Very very happy with our eavestrough!
