I was referred to Planks by a friend who had work done by Greg (the owner) who came to my home and gave me an idea of what he would do as I did not have much of an idea except that I wanted on awning over my BBQ. Greg got back to me with a price and we agreed on a start day. (the price given was at least half of the other prices quoted). We had one delay because of another job Greg was doing however he showed up at the new day and started working right away as we had a short discussion of what he thought would work best for what I wanted. Two and a half days later the job was done and the result was beyond my expectations and my neighbor commented on how great the awning looked. So if you a looking for an outstanding craftsman to build an addition large or small, give Greg a call you will not be disappointed.

I recently bought a Napoleon prestige pro 500 BBQ and needed a couple of accessories and contacted Wolf/Napoleon to find out where to order what I wanted, they stepped up and sent me the items I wanted without delay. I have to say that this company if one of the best I have dealt with and I recommend not only the company but the fantastic BBQ's.

I called bath fitter for an estimate on redoing the bath tub, they arrived on time and very professional with product samples. there was absolutely no pressure from their technician and he explained the whole process in detail. I was told the work would be done in one day. I had other estimates from contractors with cost two thirds higher and a time line from one to two weeks for completion. The bath fitter installer arrived on time with drop cloths for the stairs and floor...starting work immediately the water was turned off for about 30 minutes and the job was completed within 6 hours. the job included the ceiling, walls and tub and I am extremely satisfied with the fit and finish and impressed with this company from the receptionist, technician and installer and highly recommend this service.

I was told the bbq I bought was brand new...however I found out from the manufacturer that the bbq could be 1 to 7 years old. when I called the store to inquire about the age I was told that it was only one year old...the box looked like it had seen some weather. I was told it was a great deal for this unit but I feel I was mislead by the sales person. when I called to express my dissatisfaction and that I wanted to return the item I was told to bring it back as the sales person did not care one way or the other...not very good customer service plus I have emailed the head office and at this point I have not heard back from them. I have read the reviews of this store and find most people have had a good experience however this is not the case with me so I honestly cannot recommend the bbq department unless there is a more honest person working there.

I purchased a prestige pro 500 ng stainless steel bbq my new bbq that is manufactured in Canada is the best bbq I have ever owned and I have owned a few. when you check out their web site there are videos of all their models on how to assemble...extremely good information and makes it easy to assemble. this bbq heats up quickly and the sear burner is fantastic for sear flavours into meat, the grill also does a terrific job on anything you wish to cook it also has a cooler/cutting board on one side that is great for marinating or keeping drinks or food cold with ice. at the end of the day this bbq has been well thought out and manufactured by a great Canadian company.

after shopping around for a washer/dryer we ended up at the home depot in north markham. we dealt with a nice lady named helen, she was very knowledgeable and worked with us to get us the best machines at the best possible price. home depot will match any major competitors price plus give an extra 10%...which is better than just matching a competitors price. we are very satisfied with the service and price of our new electolux washer and dryer.

the staff at this store are always helpful and knowledgeable especially when it come to BBQ's. they sell several different models but the one they know the most about is Weber. they have an outstanding selection to choose from as well as options to purchase for you BBQ. they Weber line is the best of the best and the staff in Markham can answer any of your questions regarding Weber and while I have still not made up my mind as to which model to purchase I will definitely be purchasing from this store.

we stopped using watermaker a few month ago and ever since we have had no luck in getting them to pick up the three empty containers we have so we could get out deposit back. when we were using them the service was good and on time as long as we were ordering water. we have called on several occasions and have ask that the bottles be picked up. when we call we are told that someone would call but no one has called at this time. we cannot recommend this service as the quality of service once you stop ordering is very bad and we would like our $45.00 back.

I bought high quality furniture from Barrymore about 15 years ago. 2 leather recliners, 1 sofa, I ottoman in leather. recently I required service on my recliner and took in back to Barrymore to see if it could be fixed. they had discontinued my model...however they had the part needed to fix. I thought it would cost a bit to fix but I never thought there would be no charge especially because of the age of my chair. all I can say about Barrymore is that their Canadian made product quality is far superior than anything else on the market and their service has exceeded my expectations. when you buy quality from a reputable company like Barrymore you are making an investment that will stand the test of time and in save money over the life of your investment.

WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND WHEN WE DECIDED TO REDO OUR BASEMENT FLOOR. DEALT WITH KELLY AND SHE MADE SOME OUTSTANDING RECOMMENDATIONS TO COORDINATE WITH OUR DECOR. WE DECIDED ON A VINYL PRODUCT THAT LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE WOOD ALONG WITH A COMPLIMENTARY CARPET FOR THE STAIRS. THE INSTALLERS DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS WARM AND INVITING. WE RECOMMEND CREATIVE CARPET IN MARKHAM AS THEY KNOW THEIR BUSINESS AND WORKED OUT A PERFECT PRICE FOR US.

great product, service and installation. I recommend Welda as a well established company in the GTA. the sales staff are very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to insure you satisfaction in addition to this review I would like to add that management followed up on a problem I had with some window seals. they sent a technician to inspect the problem and he recommended that the windows needed to be replaced. they were replace under their lifetime warranty with no problem...customer service which is hard to come by these days. well done Welda.

great service, the guys cleaned my driveway extremely well taping the edges to insure no spray got onto the stones along the edge. nice clean truck and trailer especially for the type of work being done. clean and professional

great customer service...had some problems with the seals on some windows and had them replaced no cost and no problems. when i called re problems they sent out a rep immediately to take measurements and give me an expected time that a technician would be in to replace the windows. all went according to plan and what makes it even better is that i had these windows installed over 10 years ago.

I was looking for a company to service my coffee maker and was lucky to fine Anthony's. the family is outstanding and the service is compete and professional. they have a compete line of coffee and espresso makers for home or business as well as coffee and other complimentary items. drop by and they will make you an espresso while you shop.

I hired this company on a reference from a friend. I found the owner to be very professional and honest. they completed the work and cleaned up so well that except for the paint you would not know they were in my home. Outstanding

welda installed new window in my home a few years ago, unfortunately we had some problems in every window when the spacers started to separate between the glass. welda honoured their lifetime warrantee and replaced all the windows at no cost and no hassles. there a lots of window companies out there so shop around and make sure you get a price from welda.

I bought a Centro n outdoor stainless steel sink a couple of years ago and needed a new cartridge or tap for the sink. I first went back to where I bought the sink but was unable to find anyone competent enough to help me so I went to Centro directly. I was informed that the product was no longer available and the manufacturer had no alternative replacement. the customer service left a lot to be desired and I would not recommend this company for any outdoor products.

I was looking for a faucet for my outdoor sink which I purchased from a different store but was unable to get any help so I went to Lowes and with the help of an associate we sourced exactly what I was looking for. Lowes now gets all my home and garden business. they have great customer service well trained people and the prices are very competitive. Shopping at Lowes was the right decision.

I bought a Centro stainless steel outdoor sink from Home Depot a couple of year ago and found that I needed a new cartridge for the tap. No one at Home Depot was interested in sourcing out the cartridge or the tap. They made me feel like I was not important as a customer. I went to the Centro web site and found out the this item had been discontinued from the manufacturer...without any alternatives. I went back to Home Depot and asked if they could find me a single faucet cold water tap and was basically told there was no such thing. I went on line to another site, contacting them with my request. I immediately got back a reply with a picture, product number and price. I will no longer shop at Home Depot for any of my home and garden needs I shop elsewhere.

if you want professional results then this mixer is for you and Costco stands by any product they sell...so if you have a problem they will fix it. my mixer is the professional model with three attachments...there are also other attachment available for sausage, pasta making and vegetable slicing. I have seen the same model and power however they are always more money than at Costco.

This company has had my chair since September 24/2012 and every time I call I get the run around as to why it has not been completed. Every time I call the owner complains about his health problems. The last time I called the owner told me the chair was a piece of European garbage but he would try to get to it and do the job he promised almost three years ago. I have had other pieces of furniture re-upholstered by other companies and it never took any longer than a month or two. At this point I have considered asking for the chair and my money back...but I really want the chair completed as promised. To date it has bee very frustrating and I caution anyone looking for good honest work not to go any where near this company.

The young man who came foe the service was totally professional and explained what he had done. He also put away the garden hose he used while servicing the a/c. .

My wife originally took her computer to TwinBytes on a recommendation from a friend in the business with very high praise for Daniel and his top quality work professional service and price. If he was my competition I'd be concerned.

when service is required ask for an employee of direct energy and not a private contractor as my experience with private contractors was not the greatest. Direct energy has a great service program however sometime the service people they hire are less than effective.
