The reason I am not completely satisfied with this company and why I am not sure I would recommend them is the price. I think that $400 is a lot of money for the job that they did. To be clear, they did a good job, and the person that worked was great, friendly and professional. Next time I will look around some more and hopefully find someone that is reasonable. Just to compare, the person I had before them and is now retired would do the same work at half the price.

This review covers two separate jobs. First, during winter our eaves on the side of the house collapsed under the weight of the ice and water that froze in it. Neethan and Sebastian came out in one of the coldest days of the year and worked patiently outside to replace and strengthen it. They did an excellent job. Second, for spring cleaning Neethan sent over Sebastian to clean our windows and he did an excellent job. He had to remove some window panes and screens so he could do all of the windows, and he carefully and thoroughly cleaned and returned all the window panes. We highly recommend Neethan and his team for any eaves and window work that you may have, their service is exceptional.

Our skylight was leaking and we did not have the budget the skylight companies were asking for. Manuel has been in the roofing business for years, and so have all his brothers. His brother Carlos did our roof in fact six years ago. It took a bit of time for Manuel to get to us, so you have to have some patience and be persistent with him. When he did arrive however he had a very reasonable price and he quickly did the job, saving us thousands of dollars. If you have a roof repair job, and your budget is limited, we recommend Manuel.

We wanted to write this review even though we ended up not having the budget for the job. Our skylight is leaking and we contacted a few businesses, some of them rated quite highly on this website, to come take a look and give us a quote. It was very disappointing to deal with most of them, and we felt they were pushing certain products on us, and not interested in the job otherwise. In contrast we were so impressed with Eli, with his honesty and with his quick response. Eli was quick to arrive, took a thorough look at the skylight, and very clearly explained the options to us. He even worked with the manufacturer to try and get a lower price for us. That for us is service and attention above and beyond! Although we do not have the budget for completing the job at this time, we will definitely give Eli our business when we do have the money.

We have been using HomeStars as the main way for us to determine whether to contact a business or not. We have found it very helpful and we have been very happy with the companies that we did contact. They all live up to their reputation and we have not had a bad experience with a highly ranked business.

We saw water on the floor and gave them a call on a Saturday. They quickly called back and said Dave who would actually be doing the repair would be giving us a second call. It was a bit unnerving to wait but we are happy we did and did not call another company. Dave also called back within thirty minutes and he is super. He came that day and unclogged the AC drain. We then booked him to come back yesterday and do a bit more work with the humidifier that wasn't urgent. He came on time and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend them.

We were given the run-around by several other businesses that supposedly repair screens, calls not returned, people hanging up on us mid-sentence when they realize our job was not worth their time, that sort of thing. They are all here on Homestars... So it was a real pleasure to deal with Terry. He answered the phone immediately over the weekend, and quickly booked an appointment for today. He showed up early, and he completed the work quickly and neatly. The new screens look great and we highly recommend him.

We hired Zoom on short notice after another contractor disappeared. If we had more time we would probably not hire him. His attitude throughout was that he was doing us a big favour, and he was borderline rude and curt on the phone. The railing he delivered was not exactly what we ordered but basically with the railing here and two workers ready to install we just decided to get the ordeal over with. On the positive side he completed the railing within two weeks more or less, and he only changed the installation date three times. The two workers that finally showed up were polite and did a quick and clean job that we hope will last. All in all we think there are better and more professional people out there than Zoom railing.

A few years ago Fernando did window railings for us and fixed a railing inside the house. He was nice and so we hired him again to do a balcony for us and fix up those window railings. This has turned into a nightmare. He showed up a few times to work and then disappeared. His phone has been disconnected and the address listed here on Homestars has not been in use by him for over a year apparently, although it is still on his stationary. He removed all the window railings and never returned them. We are at our wits end and we figure we will never see our window railings or our balcony completed by him and that we will never get our deposit back. We do not recommend him. Stay away!

We called Neethan over the weekend and he quickly returned our call and we booked a window and eaves cleaning service. Neethan and his worker came on time, and as always they were polite and friendly. They did an excellent job all over the house, cleaned the windows inside and out, and did the eaves. This is the third time we have used Neethan and we highly recommend him.

We joined especially so we can write a review for Neethan because we were so impressed with his professionalism, responsiveness and punctuality. Over the winter when our eaves broke Neethan fixed the job that someone else had started. He did so quickly and at a very reasonable cost and he did an excellent job. Now he was quickly available to clean our eaves, he accommodated our schedule and he did a thorough and excellent job again at a very reasonable cost. We will be asking Neethan to come back for further cleaning and for any future repairs that we will have and we recommend him in the most highest possible terms to anyone who needs someone for a job related to their eaves.
